Thinking about allowing anon asks to make answering the people who prefer being anonymous easier for myself, but I just know the second I do at least one person is going to start spamming a bunch of bigoted shit.

I apologize for my ask if it was too hard to follow π
I forgot I sent that ages ago and I was really upset. I also apologize for the lack of image description for people who have vision issues
it is alright! I'll try to go through and see if I can make a separate post so people can have image ids for the screenshots, it'll take some time but it'll be done eventually.
I simply wanted to help anyone understand what was being discussed, since some people have learning disabilities and may take a little more care to understand a subject (especially a new one!) You're all good.
Came back to show a quote retweet of the post because I think it would be more accurate to do so:
Unfortunately, I confused the use of βkangsfemβ under the tweet talking about klansfem being a slur, but it is actually in a conversation about someone talking about a white trans woman being racist:
Of course, people were actively ignoring the slur, chalking it up to just an insult, or at least felt like it
Here is more of the reply chain:
Seeing shit like this makes me wish I was never a part of the queer community. It is genuinely so exhausting seeing this kind of racism spouted left and right by people who think they are better than conservatives and then proceed to act just like them
This is: okay I cannot follow the format for this, I actually cannot believe this is something people are arguing over. (And if you meant to be anon, please reach out and I will fix accordingly)
Here's a screenshot of another ask this user sent in that may help contextualize these screenshots
I do want to say that purely out of gut reaction, I can *see* why people are trying to make the word 'klansfem' look like a slur, but actually thinking about it, I can see why it was coined (even if I have never heard of this up until now)
Racism + White supremacy are very rampant in our world, even in communities of color (how lighter ends of the black skin tone spectrum get more respect than those who are on the darker end, even if both will still experience anti-black racism). The KKK (Ku Klux Klan) were violently racist and regularly lynched and tortured black people and people of color. All of the members were white, and there may very well be some members of this group that are still alive to this day (the KKK was formed in the 1900s, and they only 'disbanded' maybe around the 1980s? You can see how this would be horrible for the black community in America)
I guess I would have to label this as racism, and a mention of transandrophobia for some people claiming trans men are trying to silence white trans women. It is icky all around, and I hope it's really just a loud minority of people who think this term is a slur (alongside kangsfem, which definitely is a slur when compared with 'klansfem'. The former is used to dehumanize trans women of color, while the latter is used to call out a specific type of white trans woman who is racist)

This ask is (kind of) in response to this long reblog thread: https://www.tumblr.com/this-is/814094353980129280/i-lost-braincells-reading-this-im-leaving-my?source=share
I also lost braincells reading this. I don't blame OP in the slightest for deciding "Yeah, nope, I'm done." OP was pretty much talking to a brick wall, and one whose arguments I had a very hard time following (and for the most part couldn't)."
End Text]
This is: a response to a previous reblog of mine.
I ended up asking some friends what they thought, and they mostly agreed that it doesn't necessarily have physical violence attached (the phrase "kill all men" and "all men should die") but it could cause harm socially, and also that the person reblogging OP was definitely ignoring OP and kept doubling down that OP was somehow being transmisogynistic despite the OP repeatedly explaining that trans women will be misgendered by some people who refuse to see them as anything but men.
Assuming I'll be able to access a computer very soon, I'm going to have a queue set up for unanswered asks in my inbox. I'm very sorry for anyone who sent in an ask and didn't have it answered, I've been busy with college and attempting to get a job so I can save up to afford my own car and also move out.
I've been thinking about what I should use as a profile picture for this blog, and I'd like to ask my followers what they think. I don't believe having a blank pfp is helping my account any.
Also, thank you all very much for following this blog, I know there's more specific blogs out there, so anyone sending in asks does mean a lot, and it allows for me to show how some takes and beliefs stem from varying forms of bigotry.
I know having anon off can make asks a little scary, but I promise that I always respect requests to be anonymous, because I understand that some asks don't want a name attached for several reasons. Don't be afraid to send in anything, even questions about what form of bigotry something is! Posts about solidarity are also welcome, I don't want this blog to just feel negative. You all mean a lot to me, even if I haven't been here recently to show it!

This is: anti-kink, homophobia, purity culture, forced Christianity, and just weird and slightly gross on anon's mom's part. First off, we will never know what God thinks of BDSM, let alone kinks. I don't think people back then had nearly as much sexual education and knowledge as we do today. It is also weird as hell to be so obsessed with other people's sex lives? If it is entirely consensual, and no one involved is a minor, why the hell do people getting it on freaky-style mean so much to you? Since you mention you're expected to have children, I'm assuming your brother being praised is sexism, since women are expected to already be submissive housewives, while men are seen as amazing and great for being a man of faith.* I'm very sorry I'm not typing much for this ask, I'm just at a loss, here.
Anyway, I'll be using this ask to clarify: this blog is pro-kink, and technically pro-ship by extension. Mod does not like a lot of dark content, but dark stuff exists in the real world, I'd rather have it happen to some pixels on a screen than a real human.
Edit: I forgot to add the following:
*there is nothing wrong with being religious, this is simply pointing out sexism in 'traditional' beliefs and who gets praised for it or not.
hi, could you please either add alt text to screenshots of anon messages (just copy-paste the text for that) or just post them as text? right now they're inaccessible to screen reader users and those who need specific text formatting to read well
if you post them as text, you can use tumblr's "indented" formatting to visibly differentiate them from your responses, like this: anonymous:
hi i'm an anon, i have a question...
blog mod:
hi anon, this is what i think...
(it's also good to also denote who says what in text, because some screen readers don't announce it when something is a quote, and just for clarity)
Ah, thank you! I actually forgot you could add alts to images, I'll have to go back and edit posts so they have IDs for people who need them. Thank you again for bringing this to my attention!
I'd argue yes? Just being really rude about someone else's neurodevelopmental disorder or neurodivergency is ableist, and very likely is fed by and feeds into internalized ableism.
