Nice ones! Thank you, Mary! <3
1. White is her favourite colour, meaning sheâs often wearing white. Since Aliyna also has white hair and a pale complexion, she ended up nicknamed âThe White Princessâ.2. Her dresses have removable skirts. She walks around with her riding trousers beneath and uses every chance she gets to sneak out to ride and pick flowers.3. Adores flowers. Her room and things have flower motifs, petals and leaves often get caught in her hair. Aliyna also enjoys making flower arrangements, usually working on them while her brother plays the piano.4. As the second in line to the throne of Loriath, Aliyna had a thorough education and can argue political and economic theories easily. Talking about dry facts is one thing. Actual politics is another monster altogether. Suffice to say sheâd rather Gavriel did not die young or get himself disinherited (Though if that happened, her first act as Queen would be reinstating her brother and giving him the crown)5. Has a very close relationship with her older brother, the Crown Prince Gavriel. Despite their differences (And theyâre many) the siblings get along extremely well and trust each other with everything. Gods have pity upon the poor soul that hurts Aliyna, for Gavriel will not.6.  A gifted fencer, enjoying it as a sport and not so much as a fight. Aliyna would rather not fight at all, but if push came to shove, sheâs a far more competent warrior than her brother could ever dream to be.  7.  As oblivious to romance as they come. Youâll have to state your feelings out loud for she to take notice of them. Chances are, someone will have to tell her sheâs in love, too.8.  Close friends with Lady Alethea Aelroth and the first mate of the Alethea x Aleksei ship, the captain being her own older brother. 9. Like all members of her fatherâs family, Aliyna can summon and ride a dragon. Hers is Alanthine, Dragon of the Winter Sun.10. Loves riding, be it dragons, griffons or horses. Once entered Loriathâs biggest (and remarkably dangerous) competition anonymously, winning the gold medal and revealing herself at the end much to her parentsâ despair and rage. She was grounded for a year without riding.
1. An actual genius with an excellent memory and razor-sharp observation skills, with an unending hunger for knowledge. Ilithiya likes to think she puts her brains to good use.2. Learned YenâDarinâs complex High Dialect and Hoirisenâs tongue by the age twelve to talk to the ambassadors and to lead negotiations herself. She believed it would be a show of respect for their ancient cultures and that Itâd open more doors and advantageous deals.3. Owned a black cat named Erebus, befitting the traditional dark-based powers of her house, of which Ilithiya was a fine user, though not a strong one.4.  When her parents started fighting, sheâd run to the purple roses' garden with a book in her arms, hide where no one could see her and weep silently. If queens are to cry, then no one must see them and their weakness. 5. Her relationship with her father was complicated. Andrien cared for her, but he didnât love her, not as much as he should have. They often fought, and their turbulent relation came to an end with Ilithiyaâs assassination of him once he suggested she apologize to the Prince whoâd jilted and humiliated her before the whole court.6. Met her future husband Aurion at her second-cousin Elsbethâs wedding. Ilithiya called him a conceited brat who thought himself smarter than she was. He was taken by her quickly. They talked and argued and discussed through the whole ordeal, and Aurion guaranteed sheâd write to him by questioning her on an obscure topic she had never researched much about. Ilithiya knows fully well what he was doing but was too proud not to answer. Glad she did, they became confidants and the correspondence continued until their wedding. 7. Sees Liesl as the little sister she never had and did not take kindly to anyone insulting her cousin. No, really. Ilithiya would tear them down with words and gods forbid if you dared her.8. Adores poetry and was once moved to near tears by a reading. Will not admit it to anyone.9. Was an effective duchess, and in her hands, Cadere Ater flourished and grew enough to, later on, sponsor a war against the crown- though they werenât poor, to begin with.10.  Used black for her wedding instead of the traditional white. Ilithiya refused to marry in a color which didnât belong to her house.
