or do you think he would actually play easy and let you win, and wear this little half-smile, amused at you for thinking that you won, considering he's played this game times and times before, and he just wanted to see your cute, silly little reaction to amuse himself

i think he’s a sulker. a whiner. he’s an actual nightmare to play with because if he wins he’s all smug and insufferable but if you win?? he is gaslighting you . denying you affection. kicking your leg under the table. pulling out all the stops bc he’s Petty (i think being a sore loser is part of the fun for him tho he doesn’t Actually take it that seriously he’s just a drama queen)…. but honestly i think he’s at his worst when you don’t play with him at all. he WILL be throwing you dirty glances and sighing loudly every two seconds until you cave and join him in whatever game he wants to play next!! ”quality time is important,” he says, as if he doesn’t just want to burn time by kicking your ass in mario kart :/// asshole.
