On the one hand, they definitely know how to write season plots in a way that will get you hooked and you will travel this journey with twists snd turns step by step gradually never losing your interest; some episodes are absolutely brilliant with the way they play with your expectations and use mythological imagery. It's very interesting to learn more about this world, and some of the characters have already captivated me. I also like the choice of songs used.

On the other hand, this coexists with this overall glamorous style, with constant talks and acts of "sex, drugs, and rock 'n' roll" nature, a bit of love drama here and there, and often a bit boring one-episode murder mysteries. And it makes the experience a little tiring to me, especially if I try to watch two episodes in a raw without any break. No matter how fitting I think it is for this story logically, subjectively, it just something that doesn’t entertain me, not my type of fun.

Finally got the Odysseus plushie from Makeship, I'm absolutely happy right now ^^ It is very pleasant to feel a physical connection with the timeless story that gave me vivid impressions while I studied it in the uni, watched the movie, listened to music of Epic the musical in such a fun and nice, more modern form of appreciating a character.

Another year has come to an end. An amazing thing, because now I am not sure that I can find many words to describe it. It flew by for me with incredible speed, literally with a couple of blinks, flying off the tips of my eyelashes like a bit of fluff. Probably, this means that time passed calmly and rather positively, and I think I can accept such an interpretation and agree. Life flows, and little by little, I twist and adapt to the conditions in which I find myself. I continue to study to get a diploma, I continue to communicate with wonderful people whom I am honored to call friends. This year I fundamentally did better in terms of creativity – there were no artblocks, at least noticeable ones, I tried myself in a new hobby, and your loyal servant still gives priority to drawing on paper and still often faces surprise about this choice.

I spent the New Year in the active company of my beloved family and our friends. I think the holiday was a great success, with various games and entertainment that we arranged for each other, and I will remember this day with warmth. I hope that in your case everything went great. And no matter how it went, I wish that your year will be perfect, wonderful and memorable for you for a long time. Happy New Year! ✨🎄🎉🎊

Hello. I'm feeling much better now, thank you for your concern. I celebrated my birthday the other day, and now I'll try to slowly get back to posting ;)

I'm glad you like my drawings, especially since you're talking about Beholder-themed drawings. I have a strong feeling that my style of drawing doesn't fit this setting at all and can create a dissonance in viewers.

Overall, it's hard to pinpoint what exactly inspired my artistic style; it's more a combination of everything I watched and was fascinated by. As a kid, it was cartoons on Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon, then online, I started looking at animations and works in a similar, angular, emotionally rich style (internet artists Ak-Tastik and Sleepykinq come to mind as childhood Youtube idols. I don't follow them now because they turned out to be not very good people). Inspiration also came from friends and fellow artists: I definitely remember that I decided to try drawing with markers because my best friend at the time was using them to color drawings made on paper. And I believe that if I think about it a bit more, this will probably not be the only example: sometimes we ourselves, without noticing, can try to recreate some things we have seen in others, and this is normal if we do it wisely and do not copy blindly :)

If we talk about what brings me inspiration, without repeating the above-mentioned "works of other internet artists", then here are a few main points: probably quite obviously comics, watercolor drawings and illustrations for children's/teenage books.

I'm not an expert and I don't claim to be, but I remember reading this book and learning a few things from it. Written quite pleasantly and easy to understand.

Watercolor paintings often serve as inspiration for coloring backgrounds with colored pencils for me. I love watercolors and used to paint with them myself when I had the opportunity. Here are a couple of artists that I really like:

It's more difficult with examples of children's illustrations; there are so many… Okay, as one of those examples: I was a huge fan of the "Warrior Cats" (or "Warriors") books as a child, and I think a part of me always looked and will look at the illustrations with warmth and respect, because I see similarities in my style to those.
