Cute Shippy Starters | Meme Day 12/13

“Of course, silly,” she said with a small smile. The girl set down the tray of rolls that she was holding as she tucked her hands together and held them across her chest. “No one deserves to be alone for the holidays, especially on Christmas Eve.”

“Now sit down and eat. Tonight is just for us! So there’s not a lot of food, but there’s enough,” she explained, glancing sideways. The bluenette turned her attention back to the Japanese man. “Tomorrow my parents are holding a bigger dinner party for anybody who doesn’t have anywhere to go or anyone else to celebrate with, so if-” Marientte fumbled with her fingers as she looked for the correct words.

This new life was complicated, it had its many surprises but they were all worth it in the end of his struggles. This was his second chance at life, and despite his worry of possibly being followed and hunted down as he had in the past, he knew this time for sure he was safe, and if not he had the slightly unneeded assistance of one old friend.

The surprises of his new life didn’t seem like they would stop anytime soon, as it was made obvious by the sudden sighting of his younger brother. He had spotted him near an empty field and was set on running away from the male to avoid any confrontation, still feeling deeply guilty for what he had done to him but the knowledge that the male had forgiven him long ago kept him frozen for a bit longer. This was his second chance at life, and even if he didn’t deem himself worthy of forgiveness for his misdeeds, he should not torture those he cares about any longer. If his brother wanted him in his life, then he would grant him that. But only if he wanted it.

With his mind made up, he approached his brother, making no movements to hide his presence from him, a sign that he wanted to be noticed and that he had no motive at all to do harm.

Haruhi held her arms across her chest, rubbing her hands against her bare arms. “Yeah, I guess you’re right,” she said after a moment, finally filling the awkward silence.

 Having a tight schedule was rather inevitable when you work three jobs. It was the reason she needed to know what time it is whenever she could. However, Rachel doesn’t wear watches and her ability to be telepathic she found phones rather useless. So really the only way she could tell time if she sees a clock or do what she did just now as she was walking around town with a few groceries in her arms and ask someone.

 Asuna simply was enjoying the view of the clouds above her. It really was rather intriguing. She knew of the eclipse that was supposed to happen today but now with the clouds she wasn’t sure if anyone would be able to watch it.
