I envy kids and their random screaming so much... like- I hate it. I fucking hate loud noises, but the fact that they're able to screech to their heart's content without a care in the world just because they can is cool.

Y’all ever try to think of a romantic pairing idea and it’s just like “oh. oh no. one is going to kill the other”, for me rn it’s:

Human worker who has been running a small department solo because everyone else quit awhile ago due to the very picky Vulcan inspector who keeps sending projects back with very specific specifications, and has been doing it happily because they like working alone, suddenly has to deal with the Vulcan inspector who is now communicating with them in person instead of email

And very picky Vulcan inspector who is surprised (*cough* happy *cough*) to have someone who consistently reaches their high standards, feels comfortable barging in to their workplace at all hours to talk shop

#I always get some details worked out exactly while other stuff is vague #it was a previously human run department on Vulcan #they put together space parts then send it to the closest department which is obviously Vulcan run for approval and then it either continue #on to the next part or it gets sent back to get reworked #the very picky Vulcan inspector has made it so pretty much all the other workers have quit and either gotten reassigned #or completely left the planet #final worker has actually just made a ton of robots to make the ship parts and they just upkeep the robots #they live on site in this department that’s away in what would you call it? Vulcan wilderness?#surrounded by nothing but machinery and sand #which they enjoy immensely #eventually the other departments find out that hey? only one person works here?#so they send the inspector who will NOT stop coming by and inspecting everything in person and trying to talk to the worker #about all their ideas on efficiency and stuff #and it’s like screw the romance how do I get this dude away with their life intact?#human just trying to enjoy a horror movie where they live by themselves in a warehouse like building when the door gets flung open #they scream #it’s the inspector #they scream even more #just kidding on that second part it’s definitely a murderous glare #Star Trek #Vulcans #humans #*that one like is supposed to read spaceship parts #*line not like #god damn it
