It wasn't mentioned in your blogging, but that moment where Specter tells the Seaborn to stop singing, and suddenly the background music returns, was one of my favorite moments of the whole event.
I think I actually did get screenshots of that moment, but I just found I didn't have enough to say about it when I got to making the posts.

I do think that was a little odd, but I think the idea was just to mirror Eggmanâs memory loss at the beginning of Ianâs solo run to bring things full circle. Also it gave Blaze something cool to do, which is always welcome. And it gave us a narrative reason for Sonic to be away for a couple issues before making his grand return, finally back to normal after all this time. The Mr. Needlemouse thing is kind of a strange thing to introduce and fix so quickly, and I feel like they couldâve done more there, but eh. Itâs not like Sega was gonna let them have an amnesiac Sonic with a different personality running around for very long
I dunno, thereâs probably some deeper logic thematically tying it to the whole Mr. Tinker thing that I just havenât quite figured out how to put into words yet. Might make more sense on a reread of Ianâs whole solo IDW run now that that era of the series is complete
Have a third party stick the numbers on the die in suitcases randomly, then whenever your players want to make a roll, they have to âDeal or No Dealâ their way into the number they get.

Yes and no. The commissioner gave out the maximum punishments that they could with the fines and draft picks, but stripping the World Series title would have set precedent like opening Pandoraâs Box. Hinch and Ludnow are basically pariahs now and will never get work in baseball again. So a strong message was sent.
But...they still won in the moment and got all the glory for it. That canât be taken away because those memories will last forever and you canât just undo that. So the end game was achieved and it wouldnât surprise me if someone tried to cheat again if the punishment comes two years later.
Plus, Hinch and Ludnow didnât get lifetime bans and Pete Rose is still banned for life, when his crime was much less.
