Bisma Kayani, a brand synonymous with elegance and sophistication has captured a niche market locally and internationally with ethereal silhouettes and use of opulent fabrics. Run by the namesake herself and her team of workers, Bisma Kayani is a fine blend of different artistic elements coming together in an intrinsically unique piece of Art. Her clothes cater to the everyday woman, who is modern, not unwilling to experiment and individually unique. Be it contemporary or ethnic designs, the lacy embellishments or the variegated stones strewn on a dress, every ensemble is a timeless creation. I had the pleasure of interviewing the talented and charming designer on her latest formal collection:

a) What kind of fabrics have you used in this collection? Well this season we have mainly used laces and nets. Needle, crocheted, chantilly all sorts of laces combined with shimmer chiffon. All fabrics are handpicked to ensure a flawless level of quality.

b) What sort of materials/work techniques have you used? In our recent collection I have laid much emphasis on cutwork, appliqués and hand embroidery combined with our traditional zardozi work. We have also used lots of stones to add luxury and extravagance.

d) Where are you currently stocking this collection? We are currently stocking at PKDL (USA) and SEMPRE (Singapore). However this particular collection is exclusively available at PKDL for the US clients or one could just order online on our page or make an appointment for a customized outfit.
