GUYS IM SERIOUS DONT LET THAT ARTICLE GET YOU DOWN
everyone noticed that something seemed off about it, right? the wording was weird and contradictory. Like. To say they're "just very good friends" is demonstrably not true and just silly atp because Will is canonically in love with Mike. Like it is an undeniably false statement regardless of whether byler is endgame or not, and that confuses me, because there's no point in Gaten saying something like that!
Then, that as a statement also immediately doesn't fit with what's said after about unrequited queer love, because then they can't just be two good friends can they. To me, the logical conclusion is that the quotes have been taken out of context and rearranged because otherwise it doesn't sound like Gaten knows what he's saying. And he tends to be reasonably well spoken and logical, from what I've seen.
This is a bit different, but in a way it's kind of reminding me of how I keep seeing the quote about Millie wanting Mike and El to get married everywhere recently even though she said that pre season 3?
Point is, this section of this article doesn't add UP, and especially in stranger things the media is prone to taking things WILDLY out of context, and for that reason we shouldn't worry about it.
