“So as far as I can tell, we’re headed straight for the border when we land in Lithuania,” she said as she changed. “Best be ready for a bit of cold.”

                       ★ — Business tends to be slow on a monday; Steve isn’t sure why, but he chalks it up to people going back to work after the weekend, being far from payday and looking to just get through to the end of the week again. So - he’s left in the shop alone, his head down as he sketches some new things to go up on the wall. When he hears the bell above the door go he looks up, gaze settling on the man who’s just walked in. He wants to smile a little (he’s cute) but he chews the end of his pencil instead. He’s got to be professional, right? “Hey - Can I help you?”

❝ you keep running away, ❞ she voiced as she leaned against the railing before her, not bothering to look over her shoulder back at him. it was a silent showing of how much she trusted him, maybe when she shouldn’t. ❝ maybe i should be offended. ❞ a small laugh followed. ❝ most guys seem to like my company. ❞  

                            “walk away from this. i don’t want to HURT you.”                                                              “i was just about to say the same thing.”

“Would it be weird if I asked you to dinner?” “It would be weirder if you didn’t.”
