First Date || Jaden & Bjorn
When Jaden woke up that morning, he found the other half of the bed to be empty. It wasn’t that surprising, there were a few mornings where Bjorn had left for council meetings or other business long before he’d wake, especially now with the repairs to do after Lokie’s intrusion. What he wasn’t expecting to see when he rolled over was a huge bouquet of beautiful red roses on the bedside table with a note attached. His eyes grew wide as he sat up and took the note into his hand, biting his bottom lip against an ever growing smile while he read the sappiest yet sweetest message his master had left him, essentially telling him to meet him at the restaurant for dinner tonight. He sniffed at the flowers and rolled out of bed to find a nice vase for them.
The rest of the day went by way too slowly for Jaden’s liking since he was strangely more than a little excited for tonight. As the hours and minutes ticked nearer to the time he had to meet Bjorn, the butterflies in his stomach multiplied. It took him almost twice as long to get ready because he actually had an emotional crisis over choosing which outfit to wear. By the time he finally decided on what to wear, his bed was covered in at least four different rejected outfits, and he was going to be late. Shit.
He raced down to the restaurant as quickly as he could, and when he found Bjorn already waiting at the table, that butterfly feeling was stronger than ever. The hybrid couldn’t stop the biggest smile from curving over his lips. “Sorry I’m a little late,” he said, leaning down to give his master a quick peck on the lips. “I was having a bit of a fashion crisis, and lost track of time. Anyways,” Jaden cleared his throat and took a seat opposite of his date for the evening, “You look very handsome tonight, Bjorny.”
