Architecture 🚪 . Amsterdam is best known for its luxurious canal houses and charming gabled facades. It is impossible to go through the city without noticing the exquisite architecture, with narrow houses that line along the canals. ✨ . In 2010, Amsterdam’s picturesque canal district was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List. Thank you 🥂 . One of the most important lessons we take from travelling is to never take things for granted. 🎈 . Born in Rio de Janeiro, often referred to as one of the most beautiful cities in the world, it was only after spending a long winter in Glasgow that I realised how beautiful my city was. 🌅 . Don't get me wrong, winter is Glasgow was also awesome. Christmas time is always magical, the storefronts in the UK are really beautiful and even the dead nature has its beauty. ❄️ . What I'm talking about though is how even some of the most majestic landscapes seem to fade when we spend too long staring at it. 🍂 . Every time we travel, we make sure to open our eyes, our minds and our heart to all the new things surrounding us. There was an increase of 7% on the number of fire outbreaks in comparison to the average of the last ten years. 🔥 . Authorities suspect the action has been orchestrated by local farmers. The goal was to clear an area around a major highway as a way to support the current President in his plans to loosen oversight by the Brazilian Environmental Institute. 🧨 . The Amazon Rainforest has long been recognised as a repository of ecological services, the reason for that is that the Amazon is home to 3 million species of animals & plants and 34 million people, including 385 indigenous groups. 🌱 . Moreover, it is often referred to as the ‘lungs of the world’ as it generates over 20% of the world’s oxygen. But as the forest burns and global warming worsens, the impact of Amazon deforestation continues to destroy the ecological system. 🍂 . Earth is so diverse, so beautiful, so inspiring! It feels like a natural urge for us to explore more and more of it whilst we have the chance to. As opposed to everyone else's expectations, Tobias loves the excitement of exploring new neighbourhoods and sniffing new houses. 🐶 . To become nomadic was very scary but rewarding, it felt right all the while. Our studio fits in a backpack. Our entire house fits a suitcase — okay, okay, Tobias has his own backpack too. But the lighter our belongings feel, the lighter the weight on our shoulders feels too. 🧳 . Design for me is closely related to the environment surrounding us, sticking to the essentials has been vital to stop me from feeling overwhelmed but a lot of other things impact on our well-being too. 🌿 . Personally, I love water in any form, a lake, a river, a canal, the sea… The canals in Amsterdam make the city even more exciting for water-lovers like me. Tobias, on the other hand, is very afraid of large bodies of water and barks at even the smallest drop. On one thing though Tobias and I both seem to agree: sunny days are the best days. ☀️ . Timing 🕰 . Animated moodboard for this rather special clothing brand, slowly changing the world with an innovative concept. . As we were approaching Amsterdam, Bundemstore's founder, contacted us to take care of the social media and branding of her business. Originally from Greece, this fierce and inspiring woman lives now in Amsterdam. . Bundemstore offers carefully curated collections of women's clothing. They avoid overwhelming experiences and promote a conscious consumption by offering only a small selection of clothes that are suited to be mixed and matched into a wide range of outfits. . This concept immediately convinced us! Having our entire house fit in a suitcase, we know how important it is to have versatile clothing. Inspired by the lively streets of Amsterdam, we are exploring an urban approach rooted in boldness and minimalism for this brand. .
