1. Talk about your favorite film of all time (or one of them)

Well I talked about my number one all time favorite film already.

So I’ll talk about my very close second favorite movie. The original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie. If Ghostbusters was my first fandom Ninja Turtles was definitly the second as like most kids of my generation I was obssesed with the tv series. I remember getting super excited when I saw the first comercials for it on tv. If I remeber right I got to see it at least twice in the theaters. When I was young I remeber not likeing some of the differences between the live action movie and the animated series but as an adult and becoming a fan of the comic I now really appricate their take on. It is a movie I can quote from begining to end and again a film I never get tired of watching. I know it is not a perfect film and not for everyone but for me the comedy, the story, and the realization of the turtles into real live beings just makes it a joy to watch every time.

14. What’s a character, from film or television, that you relate a lot?

Hmm that’s hard as I’ve watched a lot of films and movies with a lot of characters. And of course theres the ones you relate to because they are so much like you and the ones because they are so much like who you want to be.

Think this time around I’ll say my internet namesake Gohan from Dragon Ball Z. I relate a lot to and look up to the scared little kid who had to overcome his fears for the sake of others. And of course I related a lot to the dorky teen who wants really hard to fit in a school and who wished to be a flashy super hero.

17. What’s a show you loved at first but ended up disliking by the end?

First one that comes to mind is the show HEROES. I actually hung on a lot longer then most watchers as a lot of viewers loved the first season and thought everything after that sucked. But I actually liked a lot of the second season and I hung in through most of the third season. But by the end of the fourth season the spark was gone from the series. They just never could live up to the promises they made with the story build up and failed at trying to recapture it.

8. Talk about a movie you love

Since it’s still in theaters and I have not got to talk about it much I will talk about X-Men Days of Future Past. I really loved the heck out of that movie. The cast in the past was amazing in their acting skills across the board. I liked how much of the original comic plot they managed to put into that part of the story. And I loved that this was really an Xavier movie with a lot of focus on his importance to the X-Men as I thought that was one of the few major flaws of First Class.

The X-Men in the furute didn’t get much story but they got some amazing action. The use of characters and powers was perfect and we got what felt like a real team battle.

Two little comic continuity nods I also really liked was the hint at Magneto and Quicksilver’s family relationship and the subtle hint and Mystique and Azazel’s relationship.

And the ending, that ending was worth the price of admission alone.

10. Talk about a show you love

I talked about a new movie so I’ll talk about a new show I’ve been enjoying Bob’s Burgers. I saw the first few episodes when it aired but didn’t keep up because I lost track of watching most telvision shows at that time. But thanks to Netflix I caught up with the first three seasons and just loved it.

It’s just a really funny show with very excintric but very likable characters. I think that’s what seperates it from a lot of Fox’s other current animated series. While the family can be stand offish or self serving there is a genuine niceness to the characters and you get the feeling they really love each other.

The comedy is smart and quick. The voice acting is top notch (H. Jon Benjamin can do no wrong) and always surprises me with the geust voices they pull in. It’s just a well rounded fun show that I highly recomend.

11. Talk about a show you hate

I hate American Idol. Always hated, never understoond why people like it. The fact that people got famous on it because of how much they sucked just took away any and all credibility of that show for me. I wish it would finnaly die so I don’t have to hear about it ever again.
