Get the body you want with 20 minute cleaning hacks
So Instagram is full of people doing these short cleaning hit outs in their homes, putting the bathroom to bed and all that shit and I was lying in bed listening to another "awesome cleaning tip" when I thought....this is how I keep in shape while doing all the family stuff now. Long gone are the days of 2 hour gym sessions with the lads, 6am runs and playing rugby 3 nights a week and all day Saturday, I can't even walk the dog without bringing the buggy ffs 🤦🏼♂️
So anyway long story short I had an epiphany, 'The 20 minute fitness hack', now I don't like the hack bit cause it's not really a hack and it's not like I went out and created this all for the sole purpose of having a "thing" to stick on "the gram" or whatever my sister keeps calling it, it's genuinely the easiest way I keep in shape while still being present around my kids and really involved in their lives. I will caviate this by saying I have nothing against people who go to the gym who have kids and all, I have just changed and it wasn't that amazing buzz anymore, I would rather be here with my family. So yea 20 minutes is all it takes....dead easy right.....well kinda. It's 20 minutes of high intensity, puddle of sweat on the living room floor, balls (or whatever you have down there) to the wall exercise, but the results are mint and 20 minutes while the kids are in bed certainly makes me feel like I am achieving so much more!
So ....I will be bringing some routines and blogging my exercise/family chaos and bringing it all to you lovely people from now on. Come along for the journey, let's have some laughs and let's change our bodies for the better!
Till next time....
