‘The Fishbowl, The Fish and I is a story about death, the universe, and a goldfish far older than time itself.
When Robbie opens his eyes after death, he is met with Phil; an enormous, omnipresent goldfish who claims she’s here to take him to the edge of everything. As they journey through the cosmos, Phil offers wisdom, riddles, and cryptic truths about existence itself. But why has she chosen Robbie? And what exactly waits for him at the edge of the fishbowl?
Elsewhere, in a quiet pet shop, Claire is struggling to move forward. She spends her days tending to fish tanks, avoiding her past, and dreaming of writing a book that might mean something to someone. But strange connections begin to emerge, ones that make her question the nature of her world and her place in it.
Blurring the line between reality and fiction, The Fishbowl, The Fish and I is a surreal, genre-bending exploration of grief, time, and the stories that shape us. Because what if the universe was nothing more than a fish tank? And what if God was just a pet store worker?’
