Este é um dos poucos livros que li em 2019, Red Scrolls of Magic de @cassieclare1 e @wesleychu1. Antes de o ler, achei que um livro cujo focus era Malec podia ser aborrecido, mas, por Raziel, estava errada. Gostei muito muito muito, e depois apareciam outras personagens na série já conhecidas e algumas novas mas que voltaríamos a ouvir falar. E apaixonei-me nas primeiras 30 páginas. Hello! I hope you're having a great Sunday! I have work to finish and I've been procrastinating for hours... This is one of the few books I read in 2019, Red Scrolls of Magic by @cassieclare1 and @wesleychu1. Before I read it, I had thought a book just about Malec could be boring, but, Raziel, I was wrong 🤣🤣. It was so entertaining and then there were other characters and then there were relation ties with other books like GoSM 😍 and I was in love in the first 30 pages. And it was an hardcover so that made it even better although it did not fit on my sleeve 🤣. La mano scarlatta era necessario? Buona sera lettori! Vi è mai capitato di aver paura che un autore potesse rovinare la serie che avete amato, scrivendo una nuova trilogia con alcuni personaggi che già conoscete? Una specie di spin off giusto per intenderci. A me è capitato con La mano scarlatta di Cassandra Clare. I protagonisti infatti, sono Alec e Magnus in vacanza a Parigi.Ovviamente questa fantomatica vacanza finirà in tempo due secondi e i due ragazzi saranno costretti a combattere una nuova minaccia. Il mondo è in pericolo a causa di un culto fondato dallo stesso Magnus secoli prima in onore di suo padre. Peccato che lui non ricordi nulla. Chi gli ha rubato i ricordi? E chi è il nuovo leader de La mano scarlatta? Ammetto che all'inizio ho avuto qualche difficoltà ad abituarmi al palese cambio di "penna" tra la Clare e Chu. Andando avanti però il coautore si è amalgamato alla sua collega rendendo il romanzo molto scorrevole, coinvolgente, avventuroso e ricco di azione e batteglie. Grazie ai personaggi poi le scene tragiche spesso sono risultate comiche e il divertimento è assicurato. Così come le riflessioni. La mano scarlatta è una storia molto intensa che parla di segreti, pregiudizi, identità, amore vero e delle conseguenze che possono portare i nostri errori. La Clare ci fa riflettere su come le cose serie anche se prese con leggerezza o fatte solo per scherzo, possono diventare pericolose e ritorcersi contro, mettendo a rischio la nostra vita e quella di coloro che amiamo. Le uniche cose che non mi hanno convinto sono due: l'inserimento di alcuni personaggi delle altre serie che mi è risultato un po' forzato in alcune scene, e l'identità del leader, villian di turno, banale e scontata. Personalmente l'avevo intuito nel momento esatto in cui è stato presentato. Voi avete avuto modo di leggerlo o è attualmente in lettura? Cosa ne pensate? I don't know how she does it, but every book Cassandra Clare writes blows me away. This book is so amazing and I had a ton of fun reading it. It was super interesting to learn more about Alec's and Magnus's relationship and I can't wait to read more about them in the next book! QOTD: Favorite Shadowhunter ship? AOTD: Probably Malec.
