Cries because I feel this on a spiritual level. Dont want to get my hopes up anymore... Ive lost all hope

What kind of yarn do you use??? It’s beautiful!!

I use all sorts of yarn but at that show it was primarily acrylic for the hats, and wool blends for the scarves and headbands etc.

Hi! I didn’t actually use a specific pattern... I looked around at some pumpkin patterns, and realized a lot of them were just instructions on knitting a ball and then squishing it and tying extra yarn around it to get the bulges. I did something a little different, but here is a good video with the basic instruction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPmTpxfB2Ig 

What I did was knit a standard ball, but instead of sewing closed the top and attaching the stem separately, I changed color for the last row of my ball and used the last 6 stitches to make the icord so the stem was seamlessly part of the pumpkin. the only other thing I changed was how many sections I split my pumpkin into (5 rather than 6) - but that’s little stuff. 

Mephistopheles: Have you ever helped a loved one destroy themselves?

Yikes. This one gets very personal for me very fast because, well, okay. So basically, both of my parents are alcoholics. My ma is less of a drinker than my dad (that being said, she is still drunk every night), so her situation isn’t quite as bad. However, with my father, he is literally drinking himself to death. While I’m not actively forcing him to drink or anything, I’m not really actively helping anything either, you know? I just kind of watch it all happen. I’m sorry this is such a morose answer, but it is the truest I can give. 

Asmodeus: On whom do you want revenge and how would you take it?

I have been mistreated in my life, but I honestly don’t really seek revenge. I withdraw, sure, but I don’t actively seek revenge. My friends have blown me off and made me feel terrible about myself. I’ve said before on this blog that I was emotionally and physically abused by my sister. I’ve said just now that my parents are drinkers and so they haven’t really been the best to grow up around. The most terrified I have ever been was once when I was fourteen I was being driven by my father (who was under the influence) and I honestly thought we were going to crash because we were lost and had swerved off the road several times... But I mean I just don’t want revenge. Sometimes I get angry but I never want to hurt someone. So yeah I wouldn’t seek any kind of revenge on anyone. I’m not trying to.
