✏️ The Dam Keeper. World without darkness ⠀ Ho scoperto la serie The Dam Keeper quest’anno. Ad aprile alla fiera dei libri di Bologna ho preso il primo volume e l’ho letto tutto d’un fiato. La storia era misteriosa e i disegni davvero bellissimi. Me ne sono innamorata in un attimo. ⠀ Grazie a @iamlewisherald finalmente ho letto il secondo volume. Anche questa volta sono rimasta incantata dai disegni (ditemi se un piccolo maialino non vi intenerisce almeno un po’?!). Rispetto al primo volume però “World without darkness” mi è sembrato proprio un fill-in books. C’è sempre un’aura misteriosa e la voglia di scoprire che succede non manca ma è stato un po’ meno travolgente. Ora non mi resta che leggere il terzo 😍 ⠀ Questa bellissima serie c’è anche in italiano ed è stata portata dalla @baopublishing con il titolo “Il guardiano della diga”. Al momento sono stati tradotti entrambi i volumi! ⠀ ❓ #qotd La conoscevate? 3 years ago I took the online class "Painting with light and colour" with Dice Tsusumi and Robert Kondo, it was really great and helped a lot in understanding better things I knew but never really processed and in learning a lot especially a different approach in painting. Tonko House has been an inspiration since it’s start 4 years ago. With the movie The Dam Keeper, it has mesmerised me. I’ve been a fan for so long that I wanted to create in an art style just like that. I hope I’ll get close to their style one day. Till then, practice is all I can do.
