So okay, this is not something I usually talk openly about but Ireally need to talk about it.
This subject might be uncomfortable for some people
TW: Cancer and mention of death.
My grandma has been hospitalized earlier this year because she suddenly lost mobility on her left side, showing clear signs of a stroke. She got rushed to the ER and they did a CT scan to discover a mass in her brain, two to three days later she was scheduled for brain surgery to see if the mass was cancerous or benign; sadly, it was cancerous. She then got transferred to another hospital that was specialized in neurology only to say that it was incurable and could leave her paralyzed, so my grandma decided not to go with the treatment and got transferred back at the first hospital she was originally sent to. Me and my brother went to see her and she was asking us our birthday to put it in her will, we also learned that she has maximum 4 to 5 months left to live. I donât know how to take it, I regret not spending more time with her even if I found her annoying at times, all this lost time down the drain.
She did say she was at peace with it and she said jokes nonstop whe me and my brother were with her so it was easier to take the new, at least she still got her joking spirit â¤ď¸
