@thecodesoftheater liked for a starter from Dr. James Wilson
Meeting the daughter of one of his former patients at a coffee shop had not exactly been what he’d expected on his day off, but here he was. Part of him wondered, if even just for a moment, what House would have done if this were him. He knew that his best friend would more than likely have just turned around or ignored that he even recognized the girl, but James Wilson was completely different. He had a goddamn bleeding heart.Â
Looking at her, he could tell she was having a hard time and taking her mother’s death hard and he knew she had nobody. He sighed, deciding that maybe this was just how he was supposed to spend his day off, by helping someone who needed it. “Look... Leah? Why don’t you let me buy you lunch or something? I think you could use it and maybe I could use the company. It’ll be good for both of us and make me feel just a little bit better.”
