There had always been a question in time travel. In the instance of backward time travel how do we go to the past and experience it without affecting what would be deemed the present.
The Point Inc had found the solution to that problem… The Bubble. A sort of stasis bubble could be used to isolate a particular point in history, that way no other time or space directly connected to that one would be altered. They set a boundary as an invisible barrier surrounding the point in time they were experimenting with.
The people or persons affected would know nothing of it and continue their lives as normal, while someone monitoring the program would pay attention to both time lines noting any changes. The bubble’s time line could be fast forwarded to the present and compared to the known time line. If the effect of the alteration was localized, or led to a desirable result, then the bubble could be removed allowing the time lines to merge.
