World Theatre Day first was brought to existence as a celebratory event was in 1961 by the International Theatre Institute. It is celebrated to highlight the significance of theatre arts and their role in entertainment.

Happy Theater Day 🇺🇸~One day behind… but does that count when we’re counting the days to the day curtains will open again on a live theater, actors on stage and people sitting in the red (or blue…) velvet seats, clapping, crying, emoting… For this special world celebration, I can’t not bring up my favorite role on stage, one that lived with me, in me, over three years, maybe five… or who knows… I think a part of her is forever with me: the one and unique Aloysia Weber, Mozart’s first love. Directed by the amazing director Olivier Dahan (“La Vie en Rose”), we performed the smash hit musical, “Mozart the Rock Opera” over 350 times in France, Belgium, Luxermbourg, Switzerland, we travelled in those costumes over to Russia, Ukraine, Tunisia… We performed surrounded by 100 musicians, a symphonic orchestra… The memories are countless. Aloysia, I hold you in my heart forever. Happy #InternationalTheaterDay 🇫🇷~ En ce jour… Oups… bon j’ai un jour de retard… on me pardonnera j’espère… n’oublions pas le gros décalage horaire que j’ai sur Mars :P … Et cela compte-t-il quand on compte les jours jusqu’à las réouverture des théâtres avec des acteurs sur scène, des salles pleines d’un public en clameur, des applaudissements… Pour cette célébration, je ne peux m’empêcher de raviver les souvenirs de mon rôle favori interprété sur scène, un personnage qui m’a habitée pendant plus de trois ans, ou cinq… ou qui-sait? Je pense qu’une part d’elle reste pour toujours près de moi… Aloysia Weber, le premier amour de Mozart. Dirigés par Olivier Dahan, nous avons joué “Mozart L’Opéra Rock” plus de 350 fois en tournée en France, Benelux, Suisse… Nous avons voyagé dans nos costumes jusqu’en Russie, Ukraine, Tunisie… entourés d’une centaine de musiciens, un orchestre symphonic, rien que ça!… Les souvenirs extraordinaires se bousculent dans ma tête… Aloysia gardera une place particulière dans mon coeur à jamais.
