The Mummy (1999), I love this movie to death and could watch it endlessly without any problems.

24: Do you have a collection of anything?

besides the obvious video games, i’ve been collecting cookie magazines for a while now, trying to find all kinds of new cookie recipes to try out. i also have a tiny collection of small rocks and shells i’ve been gathering whenever i go somewhere, to keep as a memory. one day i want a small indoor water fountain to put them in and show them off.

79: What is the single best decision you have made in your life so far?

that’s... hmm, that’s hard. i think i’d have to crown my choice to stay with my mom after she escaped my father. it’s been weird and not what i expected when i ‘grew up’, i confess, but i love her dearly and knowing she’s safe and i don’t have to worry about her being mistreated or going without care does so much for my sanity. it also gives me a lot to work for, and helps me keep myself going, for both of our sakes.

doll - what’s your favourite outfit?

shit uuuuuuhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i?? i don’t actually??? have outfits??? i wear black pants and black shoes and whatever graphic t-shirt i grab that morning i am??? a gremlin with no fashion sense. the last time i even attempted to look nice was my friend’s quinceañeraback in high school over ten years ago

boo - what’s your dream date?

fuck uuuhhhhhh tbh i feel like at this point anything with someone i love and who i feel loves me??? i’m getting desperate sis but if i had to pick b/c i don’t want to cheat you out of too many answers a nice meal would be good, something casual b/c i don’t like fancy stuff, and then just a lot of time spent having fun, maybe a movie and a walk around a nice outdoor mall? or some fun time at a theme/amusement park? the specifics matter so little honestly, all i’d really want is to spend lots and lots of quality time with the man i love

wild thing - what’s something about you that surprises people?

we gonna go three for three huh?uuuuuhhhhhhhhhh damn um, i?? i’m not sure? like the closest thing i can think of isn’t exactly nice but my doctor’s always both surprised and impressed that my blood pressure is actually super good? but i mean i guess no one’s ever really told me that anything surprises them so i guess i’m pretty predictable?

my love - what would your dream home be like?

i have two tbh and it’s more an either/or situation versus wanting both.

first of it’s either a nice beachfront house, someplace i can enjoy the luxuries of being near the beach and the comfort it provides, or a lovely mountain house, one that’s a cute log cabin based one tucked away in a forest protected from the outside life

20. preferred place to write (i.e., in a note book, on your laptop, sketchpad, post-it notes, etc.)?

it’s a toss up between my stack of cute notebooks and here on my pc, depending on where i’m at. if i have to be out of the house, even if i have my laptop, i’d rather write in my notebooks despite the trouble i have reading my own sloppy handwriting (though that is the reason i never worry about anyone else reading my fics out there, if i can’t read it without trouble, no one will ever break my code ahahahahah). but here at home i’d absolutely rather write here on my pc, the keyboard is nice and i can have some good music or let’s play going in the background.

44. favorite scent for soap?

so these days i’m back to bouncing between a pomegranate-mango and a peony with sea salt, but for a while i found this lotus-rosewater soap and it’s the best thing i’ve ever used. it’s so relaxing and floral enough to absolutely vibe check any exhaustion and i’m so mad i can’t find it anymore.

56. favorite tradition?

it’s not that old of a tradition, though it’s already my favorite, but on christmas day mom and i have pizza and watch christmas movies until we get too tired to stay up. no drama, no fighting, just me and mom having a pizza party and trying to watch every christmas movie we have in the house.

58. four talents you’re proud of having?

me, desperately trying to think if i have four talents: [muffled screaming]

um, i mean i know i’m good at baking and as for all of these idk if i can say i’m proud of them, but i do like that i can bake really well. would we say being able to cross-stitch is a talent? i’m getting better at that for sure, but i enjoy having the ability to do that too. i will confess to being Super Insecure about my ability to write but everyone who i’ve asked as said i’m really good so i’ll put that here too.

tbh i can’t think of a fourth thing i’m good at enough to call a talent? like i’m not bad at a lot of things but i don’t think i could call anything else even close to a talent, but have those three for sure.

61. favorite line you heard from a book/movie/tv show/etc.?

i’ll confess i’ve been thinking about this and i don’t... i don’t actually remember one i’d call my favorite line? between not watching/reading a whole lot these last few months and all the stuff going on, my memory’s been about as useful as a sieve trying to bail water out of a sinking ship lately

88. your greatest wish?

Kombucha—have you ever snuck out? 

Out of my house, not technically. If not telling the whole truth to my parents so I could go trick or treating as a high schooler counts, than yes. I also snuck off campus a few times to grab lunch at a burger joint that was behind the school. But the thing is that I never really had anywhere to go, so I never really had to sneak out.

Oolong—favorite mythical creature?

So I know I singled out dragons in my last ask but besides those I have a massive love for griffins but like, weird ones. Like yeah it’s traditionally a eagle/lion combo but you could get so wacky with the types. Think of all the kinds of birds! Of the kinds of cats! You could make so many cool and pretty griffins this way!

Winter by far, because the only summers I know are blisteringly hot and miserable. And the aesthetic! Crisp winds and glittering snow; ice skating and hot cocoa! Although, I will give major props to autumn because that’s a lovely time too!

well, uh, given my personal beliefs and fear of this wretched hellsite’s biases, i’m gonna keep this brief but i think heaven is a place of no pain of any kind, where we can understand all the ‘whys’ and we don’t have to wonder what purpose we served, don’t have to worry about our failures, don’t have to fear the mistakes we made, a place of true peace and joy, everlasting safety and fellowship
