It’s dark in the outskirts of Motorcity but, then again, it always is. By now the bat has grown used to the almost hollow silence that seems to echo around him. A hunt had been unsuccessful, a chase led to nothing. Currently he now sits on a pile of rubble, silently staring at the more lively sections of the city. It glowed neon almost from the lights, seemingly untouched by the oppressive city that sat like a slumbering giant overhead, blocking out the sky.Â
There was no sky down here. Only the underside of their enemy.Â
Chuck sighs, feeling tired. Perhaps that’s the reason he ignores the clear tell sound of small pieces of rubble being moved. It was probably just one of the mutant rats anyway.

And one actually managed to grab him by one leg. The boy's belly vacated to some other part of his body when the thing held him over its open mouth! "Hey hey HEY HEY NO!"
{♖}—; When a scream echoed through the area, Spyro was quick to rush to where he believed the sound had come from. Upon reaching the area he saw the boy being attacked by Gnorcs, his eyes narrowed into an angry expression at the sight.
 “Hey, back off!” He rushed over and blew flames at the enemies, making them shriek and run off with fire burning them on the rear. The little dragon approached the child, “Are you alright man? Don’t worry those ugly ol’ Gnorcs won’t be bothering you again.”

Sora stumbled through the portal into the world he’d been sent to. His head felt full of cotton and lead and he wasn’t quite up to his usual standard of alertness by far. He wasn’t sure what he would do if he ran into any Heartless because he was in no condition to fight or run away.
Up ahead he heard a scuffle, and not one to turn down adventure, he went to investigate. Only to find... himself, fighting off Heartless? What was going on?
