Vickers Family
A glimpse into family members known after the Dark Days and by the time TBOSAS happens.
Unlike some of the previous families we've seen, the Vickers are not part of the old-guard, nor considered part of the elite. Their name, however, is rather well known due to their accomplishments.
Facts on some family members:
Davina married twice. The first time to Melanippus, then upon his untimely death, to Charybdis.
She was also very good friends with her sister-in-law, Dr. Scylla Murders, who helped her out of a sticky situation a long time ago.
Charybdis had a tradition before every race, she had to have a kiss from her beloved. Otherwise, how else would she win?
Melanippus died when Isidora was a baby. Records say that he just went to bed one night and never woke up.
Both Davina and Melanippus were researchers interested in studying cancer. Although Davina once had a brief side career as a fairly successful actress before deciding to focus full time on her research.
Isidora and Marina adopted Lysistrata. Both doctors are rather mild-mannered, and don't challenge the status quo, type of personality.
Charybdis often encourages Lysistrata to speak her mind, take risks, challenge the status quo etc. She's very proud of her granddaughter even if they don't share any blood.
