For breakfast, a bottle of gatorade. And an iron pill. For lunch, whole grain pasta with garlic shrimp. And an iron pill. For a mid afternoon snack, 8 prunes. For dinner, I was GOING to eat buffalo tossed chicken chunks and an iron pill, but instead, I was clenching my gut, curled over on the toilet, because the recommended serving of prunes is 5 and I had 8. I didn't even think about it, I'd lost count initially. Prunes have iron. I ate some prunes. Whatever.

Not whatever. Black tar was spewing from my asshole and dehydrating me faster than I could replace the lost fluid. I felt like I was pulling my navel through my anus. It was loud, wet and disgusting.
