Hey, hey, hey, hey...

Guess what?

Do you know what the best part is about a man wrapping his arms around his boys’ shoulders, one son on his left, one son on his right, his arms holding them tight, the trio striking this pose over and over, for seven years?

The best part is that, if that man is in the middle when falls like a marionette with his strings cut, those boys can hold him.

“Why?” Dudley asked, sinking down into the mattress. “I get looking after Harry. It’s about time someone did. But why are you looking after me?”

“We’re family, Dudley,” Regulus said with a smile.

“We are?”

“You’re my brother’s brother’s wife’s nephew,” he teased. “If that doesn’t make us family then what does?”

He held the boy close, prompting Harry to say, “It’s silly, right? I’m supposed to be old enough to cook for my family and keep up the house and garden, but I feel small enough that I just want to pet a cat and be hugged by you.”

“That’s not silly, Harry,” Regulus said. “This is silly.”

He pulled a funny face and Harry burst out laughing.
