Obsessed with this. What do you mean this is a real tweet?
Uh...
Saw project hail mary with a friend from uni and our reactions were as follows:
1. Even in deep space, there is autism
2. Oh theyre shipping ryan gosling with the rock so hard online (nobody surprised)
3. Whats the deal with Stratt, who gave her all that agency, was it NASA, was it the UN, was she acting on behalf of one government initially? or multiple? Was it like an emanation of the state situation? Who funded all that? what was her position as the leader of petrova taskforce like was it a separate agency, was it under some other organisation? There was international cooperation but how were countries involved, to wgat extent did they have a say, and to what extent Stratt did? Could they say no to her, could a majority prevent her from shit if they wanted to? If she was taken into custody whos taking her is it like an ICC situation? Was it crimes against humanity, and if so why didnt no one stop her/ why didnt anyone have the power to do so/ did they give her all that money and resources (and who did that) and then didnt check or get involved in what she was doing? Would sending Grace to space count as absolutely necessary use of lethal(?) force by the state? (unlikely), If she was sentenced, and then the probes come back and turns out he lived and had resources and the option to come back alive but of his own will chose not to, would it change shit? Like it still was use of force which would have directly led to Grace dying, but on the other hand he did not die, so it would ot be attempted murder, and if she got sentenced for essentially killing the guy would anyone bother to changing it to attempted? How would they judge her motives and what is happening to her when it turns out she did all that and it worked out 100%? Are they sentencing her according to Rome Statues or something else? If she got a blank cheque whats happening to the people who gave it to her? She nuked antarctica and fucked up the Sahara but she have had ti have the resources for that, so when shes being brought to justice is she the only one being put on trial? Does nuking antarctica count as ecocide in a way that it is a crime against humanity done through enviromental damage? Sahara probably would bc people live there? What did they do with people living in Sahara, were they displaced? Worse? I get that Weir focused on scifi but is there more abt the legal framework of all that in the book??

patrick flashing his wedding ring during headfirst slide is. perhaps the most insane thing any human being has ever done in the history of the world. including when pete used to writhe around at his feet
I learned this previous week from my ceramics teacher that there's a famous potterer named John Price. And now, all I can think of is John Price doing ceramics and pottery on his free time.
His huge hands work steadily and slowly to create hefty mugs, bowls, and tiny clay sculptures to pass the time. The dried clay caking to his hands, apron, and even his beard from when he absently ran his hand through it. Even after showering and laundry, he still found pieces of dried clay in his stuff.
And after a while of asking, no begging, him to teach you how to do it, he'd eventually give in. The two of you spending the quiet, calm moments where his hands lead yours in shaping the clay and forming a new creation.
"Just like that," he'd mutter into your ear, humming in satisfaction from how proficient of a student you are, so eager to please him, and so very capable. He loves it.
WIP shots from the intro leaked and look
IT'S MY FREAKING BOY
IT'S HIM BABYYYYY
He's turned away from everyone :(
Doesn't even glance at Kagami
But the way he's looking over his shoulder at Adrien and the others, aaaaah
He looks a bit sad
But look at his funky collar and rolled sleeves though!!!
