And I'm going to be publishing part three to my little ficlet tomorrow, so you guys get double entertainment.

there is a very significant scene with 'owen' in pe class, under what they describe as a planetarium. this is when they first have the realisation that something is wrong. the 'planetarium' doesn't have any planets, or stars, it's just colors on a big piece of fabric. same with 'owen''s knowledge about what could be wrong - it's just a big, confusing emotion, they can't put it into words, they do not know how to solve it, or even what they would be solving.

when 'maddy'/tara returns back in the town, she tells 'owen' what happened to her, and basically gives 'owen' the words to describe what's been happening all this time. she tells them how to fix it. she tries to help them. during that, there's a projection of constellations (planetarium), which can be interpreted as parts of described space. tara realised who she is, and lived/became the person. she now describes all this to 'owen', making their experience clear.

i think it's a cool contrast.

dental implants are fucking crazy

I have a tooth now

it was a fucked up baby tooth for forever

and then it was a metal stub for months

and then they tried 3 other fucking dental crowns and they were all wrong

and my mommy had to go complain for them to finally get it right bc I was leaving crying every time bc they were just irritated the hole in my fucking gum

but like now there’s a tooth there

and it blends with the other teeth

it fits the narrative of my mouth
