Built by the original Storm Hawks years ago, the engines are older than the team combined, and although temperamental, they still have the might to push the great vessel through gruelling journeys. The bridge lies in the bow and has the best visibility on the ship, including a couple of sixty-foot periscopes for traveling in cloud cover. Behind that lies the blacksmith shop and Piper’s darkroom for crystal nurturing. Finally, hatches lead to the squadron’s Air Skimmer bay and repair area, lining the airship’s lower decks.

Boy, this thing looks super unforgiving and uncomfortable.

• It has a pair humanoid spines that go up along the side.

• Something that appears serpentine near the bottom.

• A helm is in the centre and on each of the arm rests.

I wonder if the curling motifs are supposed to be the horns of the (red) God's that had once imprisoned him?

Raven wings are near the top, they almost look like moth wings.

We can see which skull he used for his helm, the one that has hurt him. It makes me think, when he was crafting it, did he use the same God's spine, or did he use the others? Did he use that whip from the red one and alter it? Either way, that's pretty badass.

In astrology, the houses within a birth chart symbolize distinct areas of an individual's life where the influences of planetary energies are expressed. These houses serve as sectors through which various aspects of life unfold. By examining the meanings of each house, one can better understand the specific domains of existence that the planets influence and the corresponding roles and responsibilities that these planets hold within those areas.

The helm story from Overture for those who wanted it. Many thousands of years ago (before Nada but after Killala of The Glow) The Dreaming was invaded by some Lovecraftian Old Ones.  Morpheus was captured and chained up in his own dungeon. He scratched his siblings sigils into the wall.  One by one they refused to help (And you wonder why he was reluctant to call for help in the show!)  When he got to Delight he discovered she was "Changing" (turning into Delirium so reluctantly he called to Desire. Desire sent him a lover, Alianora.

  Alianora rescued him from the dungeon and helped him defeat The Old Ones.  She ended up with a scar on her cheek.   Morpheus used the skull of one and the spine of the other to make his helm and he used their horns and tusks (ivory) to make the gates to his castle.   The gates of ivory admitting deceptive dreams, the gates of horn admitting the truthful dreams (whether literally or symbolically).   Over time Morpheus and Alianora drifted apart but she had been there so long she knew she could not return to her home world so Morpheus gave her a dream stone made from a piece of his soul.  (This is a jewel Barbie would call the Porpentine.  It's actually a rose quartz Dreamstone) and he gave her a skerry (an island) in The Dreaming.   The dreamstone enabled Alianora to rule the Island, which became known as "The Land."  Many young women had coming of age adventures in The Land.  This suggests that it was Wonderland, Oz, The Labyrinth, etc. In the events of The Sandman: A Game of You the rose quartz dreamstone is finally destroyed and Morpheus reabsorbs The Land back into himself.  He meets up with Alianora's ghost and he tells her how her Land has been home to many brave young women since she left it centuries ago.       Alianora's story is carved into the gates on the TV show.
