- Daniel has been sitting in the store aisle for 15 minutes while Ruth looks for "the cutest wrapping paper"

- Instead of giving gifts on Christmas day, Bree got Mare and Gisa both advent calendars for their gifts at the beginning of the month. Gisa got a Dior one, and Mare got a jewelry one

- Kilorn will help with cooking every year and be dancing obnoxiously to Christmas songs with Ruth and Mare while the others shake their heads

- Still do the Christmas eve family movie marathon in the background of a game night like they did when they were kids

- Mare will start shopping early so she knows she has the gifts in advance and doesn't have to rush

- Bree has these hideous chunky elf slippers he wears around the house and Gisa can never hide her disappointment when she sees them

- Tramy is always the one sent out grocery shopping for family dinner and it takes longer than necessary because he stresses over which brand to get for EVERYTHING

- Daniel also tells him to add in "a few snacks" for game night and he usually gets the most random things every year. Sometimes it's Chips Ahoy sometimes it's a vegetable tray but other times it's Micky Mouse string cheese "For a charcuterie board"

- Because Gisa had to work every Christmas back in the Stilts, she makes it a point to never take any Christmas shifts now that they're not absolutely necessary

- When making shortbread cookies, Ruth always puts way too many sprinkles

- Ruth will still treat them like children on Christmas. When one of the siblings is opening a gift, she will always be in the background saying: "WHAT DO YOU SAY, SWEETIE??🥰🥰🥰" and reminding them to say thank you

- Daniel laughs every single time she does it. And it's a joke between the siblings that he caught on to. One year they made a pact to never have Tramy say thank you and then every single person said it with Ruth when she went to remind him and they all were laughing so much they couldn't move on to the next person for the next three minutes.

- Gisa always makes homemade caramel corn

Francis Crozier is one of the most important director of his generation, but his movies are loved by a very specialized niche of cinephiles and snubbed by the mainstream audience. James Fitzjames is a talented but little known actor, who starred mainly in Brazilian soap operas. 

By pure chance, they were called by the famous Barrow Productions to work at John Barrow’s last project, “The Gates of Erebus”. Needles to say, they aren’t very happy to work together: Francis considers James a pretentious rookie; James sees Francis only as an alcoholic loser.
