when we decided on our prompt, i knew putting them in modern clothes will be so much fun. Bilbo in knits and cardigans, Thorin in various hairstyles, Dis wearing a claw clip?? time of my life.

also yes some of these slice-of-life doodles were based on some scenes from @itsthemxze's Much Ado about Muffin. see if you can find them in the fic 😊💕

I’m a couple days late but here is our fic for this year’s THAUC24! 🎉 hosted by @fellowshipofthefics

The wonderful creators of Thauc proposed us three different prompts but my partner @luthiendraws and I were really interested in one theme in particular:

Bilbo's deeds on the quest have garnered him attention from eligible sutures and Thorin is trying to handle his jealousy with grace.

While I worked on the first part of the lineart, the amazing @luthiendraws made the other, then we switched for the colouring phase!

I had so much fun in the making of this comic, having the chance to exchange ideas and create something together was a blast. I loved every step of the journey ;-)

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Collaboration is a fandom event meant to celebrate the wonderful world of The Hobbit - be it the film adaptation or the book, we want to spread the love for our favorite characters, places, and scenarios. ⚠️This is a HOBBIT event, which means we are focused on the characters/events focused around The Hobbit - this is not a Lord of the Rings, Silmarillion, or Rings of Power event, though mentions and vague ties to these are allowed, so long as the sole focus is of that of The Hobbit.
