Once read in an old scroll an air nomad say something along the lines of 'Listen to a man long enough and he will tell you all his secrets' If there was any truth to that then she must know everything about Sokka by now, as the man rarely shuts up.

Today she had done well to ignore his numerous attempts at what she thinks was mean t to be humor. A streak that comes to an abrupt end when she hears him say 'We're not in a rush' Jaw clenching stop dead in her tracks, spinning around to meet him head on.

“ Who are 'we'? ” Asks with a scowl, in the most masculine sounding voice that could be mustard. One could practically see the steam coming off of her breath. “ I did not come all this way to sightsee ” Just being in the Fire Nation made her skin crawl. The sooner she settles her business here in the better.

Sokka's smile came easily the moment his eyes found hers. There was something about Ariel that always made his chest feel lighter. His fingers gently tucked a loose strand of hair behind her ear before his hand settled against her cheek as he looked at her, warmth and unmistakable affection softening every feature. Unable to resist, he leaned in and brushed a sweet, lingering kiss against her lips, and when he pulled away, the grin tugging at the corners of his mouth was utterly smitten. | @thatboomerangguy

Ariel could have instantly melted at Sokka's touch against her cheek. The warmth of his hand against the coolness of her skin was always electrifying and comforting even from the very first day they met and touched. The way he looked at her took the water from her gills and her heart skipped several beats.

Zuko followed his friend outside quickly, brushing past people in the foyer to get to the courtyard as Sokka stood there, fuming. "Sokka!" Zuko said, finally reaching his friend as he grabbed ahold of his sleeve.

"Sokka, what on earth was that about? You can't just not talk about it," Zuko said through his teeth in a whisper, looking around to make sure no one of note was nearby. "You almost knocked Councilman Siku's teeth out, man," Zuko said, knowing others would be close behind them after they tended to the assemblyman.

Toph stood perfectly still turning her blind gaze directly towards to sokka's face. The more he sputtered out excuses , the more it's obvious he was outing himself && quite frankly, toph find this quite amusing. The denial was vibrating right through his voice. She didn't even need to listen to his heartbeat to know he was lying , but that didn't make the victory any less sweet.
