I'm semi-selective, mutuals only in my writing and have been writing Zuko for about ten years now. I use she/her pronouns.
I'm in my late twenties, so I only would like to write with people who are at least twenty-one. Please only 18+ year old followers and 21+ interactions.
I follow from @captainzutara since that's my main. I do this to keep my rp account free from clutter and I like having my accounts linked to not have to log in and out or use different browsers. There are definitely frustrating cons to it, like when I follow people it can be confusing. But, it's the best way for me to organize my accounts right now.
I write canon divergence from the original show and inspired by some events in the comics, Legend of Aang movie, Legend of Korra, and onward. I've read most of the comics, but don't love their portrayals, so often diverge from there.
I also write "multiverse", I guess is the term for it? I don't really do verses unless my writing partner wants to. With some long time writing partners, our stories all take place in different verses even within the same like "Katara" or "Sokka" for example. So unless noted otherwise, I'm assuming that nothing that's happened before is relevant to a current thread, and especially so between different writing partners, unless we've previously discussed it. The exception is for slice of life type threads that don't have an overarching story. I have a mental streamlined sort of canon divergence for how I envision ATLA, so for with Zutara stories, with the same Katara, for example, I'd imagine they have x amount of kids, Katara is always ambassador, that's how they caught feelings, etc. etc. but this is far too TL;DR. Point is โ I write verses all over the places unless otherwise stated and unless it's slice of life.
I'm a multishipper, but my OTP is Zutara (hence my main being a ZK themed account). I'm open to shipping with chemistry with multiple writers. I also love Jetko and I write Zuko is bisexual.
I also love writing friendship and familial themes in my threads.
I don't have any explicit triggers, but will tag common triggers. If we're writing together, and you have any specific triggers, please let me know!
That being said, I do often enjoy exploring mature and dark themes in my stories (if my writing partner is also up for that, of course).
I do have a discord and will write there, but I am somewhat selective about handing it out because of previous experiences I've had with people violating boundaries and being rude there.
I am open to occasional nsfw after discussion and previous shipping writing. I'm more selective with it than other topics. It will always be tagged, of course.

Stylistically, the most I do is make my writing in the small formats. Very occasionally, for more lighthearted things, I'll use icons. But for the most part, I write pretty straightforward with regular syntax, grammar, and style. I love seeing people's creative tools and banners, but I only have the bandwidth to reply focusing on the core writing itself and likely will not match your banners or fonts, but support your use of them if you choose to!

I'm also a longtime ATLA fanfic writer and love most of the series' characters and have written them.
I don't really enjoy crossovers unless your character has a pre-established Avatar/ATLA verse. I know a lot of people do, and I think that's great! It's just not really my thing, so if your character isn't from the Avatarverse or made to be, I likely will not be responding. I just don't have the bandwidth to concoct a version of Zuko in like Marvel or something. Also, if your character is from a fandom I have virtually 0 idea about, even if they have an Avatarverse, I'm going to be really selective about it because it's just hard to interact with zero background and all sorts of lore I'm unfamiliar with. Another important thing to note: I am not my character. I know this seems obvious, but in the past I've had people seem irked at me for what my character does or try to be apologetic to me when my character is angry or upset at theirs. Please don't be parasocial about the characters lol! It's all just writing and playing dolls! We aren't our muses!
However, I am open to Avatarverse-based OCs and welcome interaction with original characters made to fit within the world of Avatar.

I'm a working professional, so my speed in replies will vary depending on what's going on in my daily life. I think of myself as high activity, but I'm an adult, so things come up.
I do love getting asks from readers about the threads or stories going on or any like headcanon questions or someone sort of roleplaying as a commoner asking Zuko something. I think that's super fun and used to be commonplace in older tumblr RP spaces, so if that's something you want to do, as long as you aren't being weird lol, please feel free to do so!

I'm also anti-harassment and bullying. I've been around awhile and have seen a lot of batshit stuff in this fandom with people trying to police the way people ship and write and moralize it. I hate the weaponization of important issues in ship wars and purity culture nonsense. I won't partake in anything like that or pay any mind to any kind of "callout" about frivolous things like that. I'm way too old for it and it's cruel.

I have crafted my interpretation of writing Zuko over the past decade primarily based on the original first three books of ATLA. He's a very special character to me and I love portraying him and crafting new stories. Zuko is a complicated person with a harsh past and strong drive. He's stubborn, has a temper, is passionate, driven, empathetic, intuitive, caring, paternal, strong, prideful, but sometimes has issues with self-esteem, has PTSD and anxiety, is traumatized, hardworking, persistent, dedicated, loving, devoted, loyal, emotional, stressed, and skeptical.
I implement these traits and more into the way I write Zuko. I include themes from the comics and common headcanons/fanon the fandom has held over the years. I'm very interested in the royal family's dynamics, the found family the gaang has, potential in-laws Zuko could obtain, and building romance. I love to write silly fluff pieces, casual conversations, and mostly, dramatic longer pieces, whether it's a deep plot or just an intense conversation.
