Like, forgetting for a moment the fact that even in the season one trailer, they clearly were interacting a lot and had an actual relationship, "a ship I didn't clock immediately" isn't a crack ship.

Not to get "old man yells at cloud" about it, but a crack ship is a ship that essentially comes out of nowhere. Maybe the people involved have never met, or, at best they’ve been in the same room, but even that is pushing the limits of what's traditionally been defined as a "crack ship".

And then i was thinking about how i have a whole headcanon that Cyri is bitter about the “demon of Vyrantium” title because she’s certain she’s killed more venatori than him and where’s her nickname thank you very much? So she starts a competition/running tally of the venatori each of them have killed. Cyri is always in the lead by around 4 (not a ton but a decent lead) and so then they get in an argument where Lucanis complains that she doesn’t have enough flair and then she gets genuinely pissed off because “that’s not what the competition is about Lucanis, you can’t just change the rules because you’re losing.”

And then i think he launches into a really pretentious thing where he tries to be all: “killing is an art form, Rook.”

And she’s like “give me a fucking break, killing is about killing, Lucanis. This is why i’m winning.”

Lucanis of course, then makes the mistake of saying: “yes but they do not give you a fancy title if you do not kill with flair.”

And here i imagine Cyri slamming a hand down on the table, “i’ll show you flair.”
