So if I understand correctly the plot of Five Nights at Freddy’s 4 is this:

You’re a child who experienced severe brain damage after your sibling and friends tossed you into the jaws of an animatronic, all before the Bite of ‘87.

And the gameplay is of you suffering from insomnia and psychosis-inducing PTSD as you fend back the monstrous animatronics wandering about that are actually just the plushies around your house manifested as hallucinations that relive your trauma.
