2. have you ever found a writer who thinks just like you? if so, who?

YES. Sylvia Plath. I read her novel The Bell Jar earlier this year, and she practically managed to articulate all of my thoughts. She is not only an amazing writer, but she has so much depth as a person. If you haven’t read her book, it is fantastic. No lie, the book actually helped me with my own problems. It was such a raw account of her depression that I think it made me a little better with my own. So yeah, READ SYLVIA PLATH, KIDS

5. do you think of yourself as a human being or a human doing? do you identify yourself by the things you do?

I think of my value and my self in terms of what I do and what I accomplish. It’s actually a really bad way to think of things tbh and I wish I can be content with just existing. Although, now that I really think about it, if we could live with both kinds of mindsets that would be good. So you would be happy with who you were but you would still be wanting to improve and wanting to do. Idk man, I’m starting to lose track of this myself. 

9. are you an artist?

I’m going to include writing as a form of art - so, I think? I don’t really know how to answer this question because what are like the requirements of being an artist?? I like to write creatively, and since I’m considering that an art form, I will say that I am, or at least that I think of myself as one. But in the end I guess if you think you’re an artist, then you are one; doesn’t really matter if others do or don’t. 

Yup, I’ve read it too! My friend introduced me to it by way of telling me never to watch the OVA because of all the “bad stuff”...which meant I’d probably like it. I started reading the manga before I saw the anime, which is good, otherwise I’m not sure I would have gotten into it.

It’s been ages since I read Earthian, too.  It’s an older one, started in the late 1980s, I think, by the same mangaka who later did Loveless (which I saw and still don’t know wtf I watched...haven’t read it). 

It’s a few volumes long. Basically, humanity’s future is in the hands of angels, who have to collect positive and negative tallies on humanity. The angels are paired, one pro-human, one negative-human. So it’s about some angels hiding on Earth, and one angel in particular getting up in people’s business. 

There’s also this overarching plot of a kind of cancer among angels turning their wings black, and the aforementioned pro-human angel being an outcast for his black wings.
