i think the most unrealistic thing about tf85 (aside from miwi erasure) is nikki's appearance. what do you mean little old simple will byers that was always quiet and never did anything outwardly eccentric was ridiculed for being "gay" and a "fairy", but this thirteen year old girl with a half-shaven head of pink hair, piercings, and an eyebrow slit walked free without anyone questioning it? in the 80's?
