Terror (1978)

So recently I came across this very obscure old horror film and I admit it was very interesting British horror but I feel like it lacked a bit of back story with the characters (especially James and Ann). Idk I felt very confused with my first watch and I'll probably rewatch it again sometime to understand it better.

I also definitely did not watch this because of James Aubrey (was browsing his filmography). His character is like the best character there idc lol

Terror (1978) is a pleasant surprise hiding behind a rather bland title. Love the bait and switch in the beginning where you think you're getting a period piece witch film before revealing what we just was was the ending of a film based on a film director's family tree of witch hunters. Strange things happen when his cousin goes into a trance and gets violent. There is some funny moments in between the serious stuff like a film crew trying to shoot soft-core porn and some really stylish shots and moody lighting.

Also, Peter Mayhew who played Chewbacca in Star Wars just a year prior has a bit part. You'll know when you see him.
