Worf doing his job - Chapter 16 Excerpt
Worf growled. “Let go of the Commander’s hand, Ambassador.”
Then, as nothing happened: “Or I will rip it off.”
The Romulan gave the Klingon a look full of hatred and distaste. Then he let go of Commander Data’s hand.
“I was wrong,” Data said loudly. “Please hold my hand again. I like it.”
Worf looked toward the bar. Guinan had left her post behind the counter and had come over quickly after Data’s loud exclamation.
She nodded at Worf. The security officer knew what to do. They needed to separate them before it escalated even further.

Inserting 2005 Frakes and Sirtis in 1990's Menage a Troi (The Ferengi are a dead giveaway, and the mix of collared and striped uniforms places it in S3 rather than the S7 setting of The Pegasus)
in fact, don't look too closely or you might spot Riker twice.
(left 2005 insert of Riker and Troi, right original 1990 Riker)
They did a good job with matching Ten Forward, even tho the digital/wide format makes everything a bit off.
Ten Forward Doesn't Fit
Here's Andrew Probert's concept art for the Enterprise-D's saucer rim, intended as a darkened corridor with an awesome view.
And here's Michael Okuda's concept art for the location of Ten Forward, which gave exactly zero fucks about the intended size of the ship.

Because I like happiness for my favorite fictional people, my new headcanon is this.
Post STP, the characters still on earth meet up at least one night a month for drinks and cards at Ten Forward. Guinan eventually sets aside a back room for them because these crazy seniors get more rowdy than the cadets ever could. If any off planet friends are in the area, they come too.
After all they’ve been through, this crew WILL NOT lose touch again.

“There is a tide in the affairs of men Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune; Omitted, all the voyage of their life Is bound in shallows and in miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat; And we must take the current when it serves, Or lose our ventures.”
