Sk8tr Cake print
(6th December 2022)
Alike my " Go for a rollie?" print, i drew out the plan, aligned it and printed it. I decided on the colours red and orange because i felt they complemented each other and were different from the colours in my original print. Some of the colours didn't come out as clearly due to the letter and its background being too similar and so i filled it in with a white pen. Again, i am really happy with my final print and it turned out exactly how i planned.

(5th December 2022) I am hoping to create a series of prints with the same concept as my "Go for a Rollie?" print, with a simple line drawi
Temporary Project: Scoliosis Riso Print (07/12/22)
Today I made a two layer riso print of a human spine during two different stages of scoliosis (spine and body temporarily twisted and in sever pain until surgery ) . As with my previous scoliosis artworks I used my own scoliosis x-ray and experience as inspiration for this piece.
Layers before riso print :
Finished Riso Print (Print 6/8) :
My definition layer was blue and shows the spine straightened after spinal fusion. Behind the layer is the pink highlight layer which depicts an image of a twisted scoliosis spine. The concept of the piece is that the twisted spine in the background is in the distant past and the stronger, clearer image in the foreground of the spine post surgery is in the present but the past is still there as a memory . This print clearly juxtaposes the pre and post surgery state of the Human spine suffering from scoliosis (a medical condition my body suffered from temporarily).
Primary source inspiration - my x-ray:
Before: After:
I am really enjoying making these eco friendly prints and I am learning more every time I Print about the layer and colour separation methods and their results.

sculptural street art instalation
Petrit Halilaj has transformed Madrid’s Palacio de Cristal into a giant nest of massive flowers. The artist has connected the temporary installation with the city’s Retiro Park by opening windows, setting up structures, and placing feeding areas to attract the birds and other creatures inhabiting or passing through the park
