2020 Temperature Shawl
I started planning a 2020 Temperature Shawl. I know, I know, I haven’t even finished my 2019 Temperature Scarf! (Oh did I tell you i decided to change it from a blanket to a scarf?) But. I can dream, can’t I?
In my 2019 project, I didn’t like the long uninterrupted runs of colour in summer. The easy way to rectify this is to add more colours, so here’s what I’m trying for my 2020 plan:

As you can tell, there are still somewhat-wide bands of colour in summer. That’s because our mean daily temperatures tend to stay fairly consistent. Here’s a graph that might more easily show this (2019 data shown):

The other seasons are much “bumpier”, but summer tends to be much smoother. Here’s 2020 so far:
