Congratulations on the book! Is the "urban" part of urban fantasy a city that exists in our world, or is it completely made up?
It's set in the city of Westmeath, Ontario, which is a real place, but irl is a small farming town. In our book, something significant was discovered there and a very large city popped up very quickly (think 3/4 the size of Montreal, about 1.1 million people)
I have a prompt for the Redeye-verse (is that what it's called?); how about Toshinori Yagi visiting the cafe? Not as All Might, just as a skinny banana-haired man in a mustard yellow suit. Aizawa, not teaching at UA, isn't in on the secret of All Might's true form. Neither are any of the patrons, and those who are in on the secret never go to the cafe, except Izuku as of the last chapter.
This is adorable and I have no excuse for waiting so long to respond. I already had something similar planned, so expect this to be in Ch. 12.

I could see it working both ways, but the True Form reveal isn’t really what I would call a backstory, not the way Uo’s gang days is. So I would lean towards Uo. If they don’t end the season with the dramatic True Form arc, they might go for something more simple and sweet. One chapter that isn’t even hinted at on those post-its is ch. 30, when Tohru gets a bad cold. That could be a way to end the season, bringing everyone together to take care of her. Maybe.
@temperatezone - Hmm, I would still consider the True Form arc a backstory arc for Kyo, since it contains all of the backstory info about his mom, dad, and Kazuma. But you are definitely right that Uo’s is much more of a traditional backstory. And like you, I lean more towards Uo as well. Chapter 30 would be a good episode to end on. Two other chapters that were in the original, but which we don’t see on the sticky note - Yuki and Tohru visiting Ayame’s shop and the Motoko episode. I can’t really see them ending the series with the Ayame shop episode, but the Motoko episode could be a good one to end it on (perhaps combining it with Chapter 34) since it concludes with the appearance of Kakeru and Machi and some semi-ominous words. It’ll be interesting to see what they decide to go with. :)
