Platypet was popularised by a cartoon series, and ever since then it has been one of the most popular Temtem with kids. The series had an educative purpose - to teach children that Toxic Temtem are also valid and can be good friends.

Noxolotl are noble, dignified creatures. They are taken to exemplify the resilience and spirit of the Tucmani people, as "a beauty born of the foulest depths of Xolot, a light in the abyss", in the words of the poetess Itzia.

Despite their impressive height, Tateru are quite shy and not naturally aggressive. Thus they need proper training before battle. Wild Tateru are recognisable for their upright position and sensitive antennae, always alert.

Closely related to the non-sentient fungi of the Corrupted Badlands, Mushi are shy but territorial. Always mineral-hungry, wise tamers keep them well away from Crystal Temtem.

Probably a mutation from an ancient serpentine strand of Nature Temtem, Orphyll show remarkable adaptation to noxious conditions. They feature prominently in the art of ancient proto-Arburian cultures, who feared and revered them. 

Bigger and more resilient than Bunbun, Mudrid are hardy Temtem, used to extreme weather conditions. Their extremely fine sense of hearing makes them very valuable scouting Temtem once tamed... but also harder to catch in the wild.
