Do any of the champions have equivalents?? I feel like they wouldnt because they have no time and are always doing royal work or fighting. Like??
Well, when I created them, I really hadnât put much thought into them, but you do have a fair point. Though they werenât always Equivalents, so some, if they did manage to find an Equivlanet before becoming Champions, do have them. That, or they were like Dravla, and were won during the Equivalency challenge by another Coeihn.Â
Champions canât exactly compete for their own Equivalents since they themselves are champions, so if they wish to have an Equivalent, they have to have the other in the relationship do the Equivalency challenge.
Fourth champion (Arloâkie): When I made him he didnât have an Equivalent, but a few people have shipped their Ocâs with them :) They are all super cute, but honestly, Iâm not sure if anything is canon, just because I like to give people the freedom to ship their Ocâs with him if they choose to.Â
Third champion (Verla): I put a little thought into her, and yes, she does have an Equivalent. I havenât designed her appearance, but Verlaâs equivalent is a seamstress named Lorae!Â
Second Champion (Tilma): I honestly havenât even designed what Tilma looks like yet, so I have no plans for an Equivalent for him either. I think it would be very nice for him to have one though :)
First champion (Werâla): Similar to the second, he might have one, but I certainly didnât plan or say he did. So far Iâm going to say no, just because I havenât thought of one for him. He still has plenty of time to find himself one though~
Teller is an amazing tailor and Dravla is a good dancer? i think .. and Ruru is a talented actor, so.. what else? I'm positive they have more talents XD
Dravla can dance~~~ Though itâs all to a personâs opinion on whether itâs good XD He can slow dance like nobodies business, just solo⌠well, XD He is the fifth champion, of course, a father, a loving Equivalent. He likes to cook in his free time and isnât half bad at it :3 best friends to the King. He likes to ride/race Parlogs and can get pretty competitive in that sport.Â
Tellru likes to sew and knit, but she is also the Kingdomâs best translator. A loving Equivalent and mother, she has the IQ of a genius! She has an eye for fashion, a little bit of a pervert, but is the ambassador of sorts to any outsiders who enter the Kingdom. She speaks on their behalf and hopefully, she can get them through the situation alive.Â
Ruru, when she is young, is definitely a talented actor, and that shows into her older years as well. When she gets old enough, she becomes the next fifth champion like her Father! But of course, there is some heavy influence from a certain blue and red paladin, as they taught Ruru how to both fire a gun and sword fight with expert precision. She is just as sassy, smart and strong as her folks, with a heavy influence from her big brother paladins. Her dream is to go out into space like they did one day and learn how to fly. (Lance and Keith give her small lessons when they come to visit) She definitely doesnât consider herself Equivalent material since she doesnât know how to cook, clean, or talk without bringing fighting into the conversation, but she does her best :3Â

When the time struck 2:30, the time inching pass slowly, it was finally time to go meet Kacâela at the Bell tower steps. At least, he hoped Kacâela would be there. He might not show up for another hour or two since they werenât specific on times. It didnât really matter to him though so long as Kacâela showed up eventually.
The only problem he had to deal with was getting pass Dravla.
His guards were a cinch, easily tricked and their gazes turned in the other direction. Dravla was persistent, knowing most of Mannyâs tricks before he even thought them up himself. If he played it cool though, Dravla would never know.
With that thought, he ruffled his hair a little, making sure it looked okay, checked his teeth, and strolled out of his room. Followed by two guards till they got to the royal dinning room, he found Dravla within, eating his lunch.
Hand made by himself, he was eating a little sandwich and some fruit. Manny peeked over his shoulder, trying not to snicker at Dravlaâs taste of food. He ate like any normal Coeihn, but the look of the meal had to be just right in Dravlaâs eyes.
So he cut his sandwich into a little heart, trimming the crust and making sure to cut each fruit in half. âWell arenât we just as adorable today as ever,â Manny cooed teasingly, pinching Dravlaâs cheek.
He throws his hand out, making an angry noise, âDonât make me hit you again, Manny,â he warned.
âFine fine,â he strolled around the table, eyeing the cloak Dravla wore over his shoulders. That was the perfect thing to wear! It was common attired and would blend in well with the crowd.
âOh hey, Dravla,â Manny says, âIâm just heading off to go meet up with my guards and go places,â
Mid chew, Dravla blinks at him, â...Thanks for telling me despite not asking where you were going,â
âBut um- Itâs kind of cold out.â
â...Okay,â
âSo~â he gripped the bottom of the cloak, and with one tug at his heaving over Dravlaâs shoulders.
âHey!â the fifth champion yelled, shirtless below. Manny pointed at him and laughed.
âWhy arenât you wearing anything underneath?â he questions, tossing the cloak over his shoulders.
âBecause I was wearing the cloak- now give it back,â when he attempted to grab it, Manny ran around the other side.
âI need it though. Itâs chilly.â
âAnd I really donât care, I have nothing else to wear.â
âYou can borrow something from my room. I gotta get going.â Manny insists.
âHow about you go back to your room and grab one of your dozens of different cloaks!â Dravla stands up, moving around the table to follow him.
âBecause itâs too far away and I gotta get going. Plus, Iâm your prince or whatever, you gotta do what i say,â he grins, stealing some of Dravlaâs fruit as he rounded the table and passed by his spot again.
âNow you are taking my food?!â
âRoyalty puts claims on all food and cloaks for the day, so decrees I,â
âManny!â
âGotta go,â Making a break for the door, Manny threw it open and paused when he ran into a firm chest. Backing up, he was surprised to find the head of the royal guard and his protege at his side. âOh⌠Captain Yinâla,â
The captain bowed to him, âYour highness, I do apologize for standing in your way,â the elderly man says.
âIt was my fault,â Manny insists, âAre you making your rounds through the halls?â
âYes I am,â he smiles, his features stern from years of war, but his eyes still soft for the love of his people. âI am taking Rashra around to show him the ropes,â he motions to his future successor.
Manson looked over to the younger Coeihn, sizing him up. He had met Rashra a few other times before now. He was close to his and Dravlaâs age, his hair slicked back and face often stern. He seemed like a kind of unapproachable fellow, but was very skilled in combat and strategics.
It made him the next best candidate for when Yinâla retired as head of the royal guard. Though in Mansonâs opinion, Yinâla would always be the only one suited for the job. Or perhaps even Dravla, since he trusted him ten times more than Rashra.
But, Dravla was busy enough as the fifth champion as was not interested in the position at all. He was already technically Mansonâs head guard anyway, and didnât wish to have the responsibility of ordering around every other guard.
So that left Rashra for the job.
âRashra,â he nods.
âYour highness,â polite enough, Manson could always see a glint of rebelliousness in his eyes. He could chalk that up as pride and usually didnât mind it.
âAre you leaving, you Majesty?â Yinâla inquired.
âI am, yes. I shall see you both another time,â with a smile and a little bow, Manson slide past them and down the hall. Halfway down he could hear Dravla yell at him.
âYou still didnât give my cloak back!â
He broke out into a run to avoid him.
Left shirtless, Dravla folded his arms and sighed. âThe things I put up with,â
Yinâla chuckles whole heartedly and warm, âI am glad though to see the Prince so friendly with you, Dravla. It is important to have close allies, especially during times like these,â
âI suppose you are right, sir,â Turning to go back to his lunch, Dravla felt a chill run up his spine.
He turns to find Rashra staring at him, his eyes boring into his.
With a dry throat, he frowns, feeling this urge to cover himself. âCan I help you?â he inquired.
âI was just surprised to meet the fifth champion so suddenly,â Rashra says smoothly, extending out his hand. âRashra,â he introduces himself.
Not wanting to be rude, especially with Yinâla present, Dravla reluctantly takes his hand. It lingers a moment too long. Rashraâs eyes are soaking in the curve of Dravlaâs bicep, trailing it down his toned chest and smooth stomach, eyeing his hip line.
Dravla quickly steps back and turns away. He collects his things and tucks them under his arms, âI have to get going too, Iâm afraid,â
âI see. Well, I will see you later. Your Father and I are having our annual Parlog wrestling tomorrow, so I will see you then,â
Dravlaâs spirits lift immediately, âOf course! I will see you then,â Giving Yinâla one final smile, nodding awkwardly to Rashra, he scurried out of the room as fast as his legs would allow.
Creepy creepy creepy, was all he could think about as he escapes to the lower kitchens, joining the chefs down there for the rest of his lunch.
Someone remind him again why that guy was the only other choice for the Royal guard?
Day 2: (Kacâela)
âStop moving,â Tellru grumbles through the hairpins held between her teeth. Kacâela shifted below her, whining.
âI hate braids,â
âYou look great with your hair in a braid,â Tellru tells him, âNow stop fussing. Iâm almost done.â Placing in the last hairpin to keep Kacâelaâs hair in place, she steps back to admire her work. âPerfect,â
âI look ridiculous,â
âYou look dashing,â Tellru corrects him, swiping a bang behind his ear. âNow, try to be friendly, donât be a downer, and Iâm sure this will end great,â she tells him. Pausing, she dusts off his shoulders and adjusts his the collar of his shirt. âThere,â
âTellru,â he groaned.
âJust finishing up the minor details,â she insists, âNow get going. I want all the details by the end of it- even if it ends in horrible failure,â
âThat gives me a bucket full of confidence,â he says sarcastically seconds before he is forcibly shoved out the door and locked out of the house. Sighing, he adjusts his coat and makes his way towards the Kingdomâs bell tower.
Keeping his head low, avoiding eye contact to the strangers he passed, Kacâela pondered Tellruâs words. What if this did ends in horrible failure?
What if Manny doesnât even show up?
What would be worse? A ditched date or a date gone horrible? Probably the later, Kac would assume.
Pondering the thought a little longer, he found himself scaling the bell towers steps before long. Taking to the top step, despising himself for how vague he was with details to their meeting location, he scanned the surrounding area.
In truth, since he wore that hood, Kac would most likely have to wait for Manny to locate and come to him, since Kac did not know his face.
Above, the Bell tower struck three oâclock. He didnât expect Manny to arrive immediately, simply because of his confused planning with the time.
So, he sat down and waited, hoping to plan some conversation topics. Perhaps the weather? Or politics? Though that was never something most wanted to talk about, Kac rather enjoyed going into detail about it. Perhaps he should hold off though so not to bore Manny.
âHey!â
A hooded figure was dashing up the steps and Kac found himself smiling.
âManny?â he called curiously.
They lifted their head in response, that smile peeking out from under the hood, âKacâela!â he greets joyfully, âYou actually showed up!â
âDid you not expect me to?â Kac stares him up and down, noticing how his cloak seemed to be new, or at least different from the one he wore the other day. It formed around his shoulders neatly, cascading downward with Kingdom insignia decorating the back.
âWell⌠k-kinf of? I thought you would, I just wasnât sure you would be here right at three, especially since you said 3 different times.â Manny laughs nervously.
âOh,â Kac tugged on his horn- a horrible habit he had picked up whenever he was embarrassed, âS-Sorry about that,â
âItâs fine,â Manny assures him, âI was willing to wait for whatever time you decided to come by,â
Knowing he would do the same, Kac motioned for Manny to sit down. Scooting over a little, the both of them looked out to the traveling citizens.
âHow is your day?â Kac inquired.
âItâs been well. I hope I didnât keep you waiting long,â
âOh no, not at all. I just got here,â Kac tells him. âI umâŚâ he trails off, completely forgetting every topic he had planned to discuss. Feeling as though he was caught in some spotlight, he stammers, âH-How⌠nice⌠Those battles up South sure sound dangerous, huh?â he curses himself for bringing up the war, because it wasnât like that wasnât on everyoneâs mind enough as it was.
âYeah,â Manny agrees, his daze looking out to the distance, âHopefully weâll be able to find a means of transportation to get those soldiers supplies. The mountain passages could be a likely candidate, but those paths have always been unstable. We need to get the soldiers the supplies they need, but risking the lives of other men just to get it there doesnât seem very conventional.â
Not expecting Manny to be so invested in the conversation, Kac nods, âR-Right. There is always the lower paths, through the caves at the bottom of the mountains. If you can mark the paths within to find the quickest path into the South, the Kingdom could use that.â
Manny gives him a smile, âThatâs pretty clever, Kacâela.â he praises, âThat is actually what-â he cuts off, âI mean um, I donât know much of what the Kingdomâs plans are, but I heard a rumor that the King is attempting a plan similar to that.â
âOh?â
âIâm surprised you even know about the lower mountain caverns. Not many know those,â
Kac shrugs a little, âMy Grandfather took me along that path once when we went traveling south. I almost wandered into one out of curiosity before my Grandfather stopped me, warning I would get lost in the caveâs endless tunnels.â
âYou were an adventurous child then?â Manny chuckles.
âYes indeed. It got me into a world of trouble. I wouldnât say Iâm much different now. Iâll jump at the chance to leave the Kingdom and go see the rest of the world. Have you ever gone outside the walls?â
âMany times, but not as often as I would like.â Manny sighs. âIâve never gotten to see the Southern mountains myself. I hear they are beautiful in the spring.â
âThey are,â Kac confirms, âFlowers as far as the eye can see.â
âOooh,â Mannyâs taps his feet a little, âIâd love to see them. Iâll have to try and make it over there one of these days.â
Lifting his hand to twirl his finger around his braid, Kac says, âFall is also a good time to go,â
Glancing at him, his eyes catching on his fingers, Manny motions to him. âI like your hair in a braid,â he compliments him âMy hair is long too, but Iâm not very good at braiding it,â reaching into the hood, a dazzling trail of golden hair trickled down Mannyâs shoulder. Kacâela watched, mesmerized by the sight, and almost reached out to touch it but stopped himself.
âI donât really like braids,â he admits, âBut it is a stylish way to keep your hair out of your face. You uh⌠why do you keep your hair long?â
Manny says, âIâm not sure. I suppose it is just kind of a tradition to keep our hair long. My Father did it, my Grandfather did it so⌠my turn, I guess?â he laughs, âWhat about you? Why is your hair long?â
Kac shrugs, âI think I just havenât had time to cut it.â
âWell, itâs quite lovely since itâs long. Very silky,â Manny lifts his wrists to point at it, almost reaching out to touch it. He seems to catch himself before though, his hand lingering awkwardly in the air.
Eyeing it carefully, Kac can see the sleeve of Mannyâs cloak slide down, revealing a slender wrist and a large bracelet.
Not expecting Manny to wear jewelry of any kind, he noticed a very familiar insignia covering it.
Kacâs breath caught in his throat and he openly gasps. The two freeze up a second later, turning to the other.
âW-What?â Manny inquires.
Kac points to the band, âYou are part of the Froas'tlac Master Appreciation club?â he could recognize that insignia anywhere!
Manny is startled, rushing to hide the band, âO-Oh this? Itâs just uh- an uh-â he fumbles, his cheeks flaming, âPlease donât laugh.â
âOh! No no, I didnât mean it like that,â Kac gawks at him and pulls back his sleeve, revealing at least 5 different bands with Froas'tlac images painted onto them. âIâm a gold member!â he points out his golden brand with pride.
Mannyâs balance falters, âNo way,â he catches himself by his palm and could hardly believe his ears, âYou like Froas'tlacâs too?â
Kacâela jabbed his hand into his pocket and pulled out at least three different photos of his Froas'tlac, Raver. Manny fawns over them, pulling out his own set to show his pet Froas'tlac, Yila.
âShe is beautiful,â Kac gushes, âOh! They should have play dates. Raver is such a friendly guy but not many of the people I know have pet Froas'tlacâs,â
âShe would love playdates! She is always stuck at home when Iâm away for work and stuff,â Manny agrees instantly. âOh, this is great! Yila has always wanted a friend,â
Chuckling, kac finds himself talking with Manny for hours about Froas'tlacs. Tellru never liked to talk about them, so it was a nice change.
Manny knew so many details! And was even a fellow follower of his favorite club! And to have a band like the one he does, it must have made him a true Froas'tlac fan.
It was great!
âHey,â Manny lifted his head when the bell tower struck again, âI gotta get going.â
Feeling disappointed that their time was over so soon, Kac pouted, âSo soon?â
âYeah, I have work,â Manny sighs. Standing up, he dusted himself off, and looked down at Kacâela, âIâd love to do this again,â There is a gentleness in his voice that had Kacâs legs quivering. âPerhaps even meet your Froas'tlac. Is anytime this week good for you?â he inquires. Kac nods sheepishly, his thoughts jumbled.
âF-Few days,â he offers. He was busy the next day, then the day after that. But then he was free. He could only hope that Manny was the same, âThree days from now?â he offers. âThis exact same spot to meet up?â
âThat sounds like a plan,â
âIâll bring Raver!â
âI await the day then,â Manny leaned down enough to take Kacâela hands, âTill then,â he kisses his knuckles again, sending Kacâela a beaming smile.
With burning cheeks, Kac nods, âR-Right,â he stands and waves, watching Manny disappear into the streets.
Waiting a few minutes, Kacâela rushed home, his hand held close to his heart. When he arrived, Tellru was waiting for him.
âSo?â Tellru shook him violently, âHow did it go?â
Tugging at his horn, Kac peeks at her with full lashes, his smile star struck. âHe likes Froas'tlacâs,â
Tellru makes a disgusted back, âNot sure if I should like the guy or be horrified at his sense of pets.â
âFroas'tlacâs are the best pet to have. They are family-friendly, loyal, can learn tricks-!â
âSlimy, eat a lot, eat my couch cushions, growls at me at nightâŚâ
âRaver doesnât growl at anyone,â Kac disagreed.
âNo, he doesnât growl when you are around because it knows it has to keep up its image with you. But it growls at me every night! He just slides into my room, sits there and hisses. I hardly get any sleep,â
âTellru,â he sighs.
âFine fine, but⌠Iâm glad you seem to like this guy. You meeting up with him again?â
âYes, In a few days. Iâm bringing Raver,â
âYou are bringing that horrible thing into public,â Tellru gasps in horror, âMay this Kingdom live through that horrible day.â
âShh it,â
Patting his head, Tellru asks, âYou at least got to see his face right? Is he cute?â
Kac opens his mouth, pales, then groans, âI didnât get to see it,â
âAgain?â Tellru gawks at him.
âHe was wearing a cloak again! I donât know how to just ask someone to take down the hood without sounding weird!â he exclaimed.
took a few days but i did it! Tellru is hard to draw⌠hope the bg is alright i dont usually do them lol. I think I made Ruru cute enough! her hair was hell to ink tho :P hope you like it!
