The fact that Jimmy felt like he needed Toh when he was panicking over his injured cat should tell him everything he should about how he really feels, but he’s as thick as a brick wall and emotionally immature. Like most boys that age, his dick runs the show, not his brain and definitely not his heart. Emotions and love are lame, it’s all about getting your dick wet and nothing else.

Jimmy has made it so that he has literally no one in his life that he can count on, his loneliness is his own damn fault. And it’s turning Toh into a liar as well, because he knows that Teh doesn’t want him and Jimmy together.

Like I thought it would take much longer for Toh to find out Jimmy’s real intentions, but no, he knew as soon as he heard him call Teh, and he was rightly devastated. But he’s hiding all his pain and disappointment from everyone, letting Jim go on thinking he doesn’t know, letting Teh think he’s not keeping in contact with him, etc.

Like he knows the last thing Teh wants is for him to get hurt, so he’s hiding all the pain he feels, probably because he blames himself for his pain and the last thing he wants is for his brother to worry.

Yet he also secretly desires to win Jimmy over, even though he knows he’s with him for nefarious purposes. He even gives himself a pep talk and everything while he’s crying, almost like to cope. But he also constantly hints to Jimmy that all he wants is to not get hurt, that he just wants him to be truthful and just come clean.

I wonder if Toh has secretly always felt undesirable to people, that maybe the one thing he wants is to be THAT person to somebody, that person you want to be you last person. And maybe for him, the fact that Jimmy is willingly flirting, spending time with him, having sex with him is at least something. Something that says he’s wanted in some capacity. But he’s still in pain because he wants Jimmy to be truthful on why he wants him.
