I’m streaming early tonight to try something new!!! It’s a birthday stream for my bestie The Friendly Anon/TeFA and I’ll be doing her DTIYS!

“When you said you wanted to go dancing,” she said, pressing further against Dark’s side, looking for all intents and purposes like she wanted to disappear in his aura and never come back out, “I thought we were going to go somewhere more….private.”

“And miss the opportunity to show you off?” Dark purred, wrapping his arm around her shoulders and leading her away from the back wall and towards the dance floor. “Never.”

“Oh my god,” she whispered back, sounding meek and embarrassed. He delighted in the flush on her cheeks, in the way she shuffled and ducked her head. She was uncomfortable, certainly, but he was certain in a few minutes he’d get her to loosen up.

“I don’t even know this dance!”

“I can teach you.”

“Right now?”

“When else?”

She couldn’t argue with that logic and put her hands in Dark’s, reluctant to back away from him. No one else was paying attention to them, caught up in their own dancing, but her eyes continued to dart around. Dark dropped one of her hands to lift her chin, meeting her eyes with an intense stare. His aura curled along her shoulders, sitting like a heavy blanket. He watched her relax under the pressure, a pleased grin stretching his lips, a rare sight only for her eyes.

“Focus on me, my dear. You will do wonderfully.”

Her eyes flickered to the side and Dark leaned in, beginning to rock them from side to side, starting the rhythm, letting her get lost in the movement of their feet and the song winding through the air. He let go of her chin, pleased when she didn’t look away again.

“Focus. It is just you and me. I will show you.”
