Lecture 1
Today i had my first lecture on sustainable design with Gabrielle.Â
We have to consider how we can make the future better for the next generation and challenge ourselves with the development of better materials.Â
Today we discussed the Ted Ten.1 to 5.
1 Design to Minimise waste
2 Design for Cyclability.
3 Design to Reduce Chemical impacts.
4 Design to Reduce energy and Water use.
5 Designs that Explores Clean/Better TechnologiesÂ
Design for Cyclabitity.
 Recycling is very important to reduce waste of unwanted fabrics and materials. Making something new from old is a great way to upcycle an unwanted item.Â
