I kinda reckon that we could/should use TECM (trans exclusionary cis men) rather than TEHM cuz calling people 'homosexuals ' in that way kinda squicks me out
& imo doesn't put emphasis on the power imbalance & rather focuses on the sexuality in a way that can come off as homophobic or be argued to be homophobic thus derailing when it's the cis supremacy & resulting transphobic violence that's the issue
like there are homosexual /gay trans people too & homosexuality or gayness isn't the problem with TECMs:
The problem is the weird hatred of trans men - the performative misogyny, transandrophobia, exorsexism & insistence that trans men can't be gay that gay men who love trans men aren't allowed to call themselves gay & that trans men are delusional or predatory cis girls who are only transitioning to "trick them" or 'force them to turn straight ' or whatever other self obsessed insecure cisgender nonsense they prattle on about to excuse violence
Also gay cis men aren't the only cis men who do this shit or who use their cis terror of trans bodies as an excuse for violence & to say its specifically an issue with gay cis men lets straight bi etc cis men who obsessively engage in transandrophobia & violence against us too off the hook imo
