I think part of it is because even though I don't normally ship it, when I'm reading it or looking at it, that's the ship I'm dedicated to, & if it's slow burn, that's what I'm waiting for.

One thing we don't appreciate enough I think as a community is just how good the shipping side of the fandom is??
Like... All four main ninja get shipped together- and like- y'all didn't just combine their names, y'all came up with cool stuff like "plasma shipping" and "glacier shippinh" and "BRUISE" that's so creative!
I don't think I've ever seen a shipping war regarding those four.
Not to mention!! People are so chill about shipping Jay with people? Like, you'd think because he's been canonically set up with Nya since episode 2 there would be a massive divide between Jaya shippers and then literally everyone else but nope??? Ninjago fandom literally said "Jay has 2 hands" and we stan.

so i been looking at a lot of ninjago fanart tonight and getting fuzzy over the og 4 ships (glacier, bruise, plasma, lava, techno, opposite, also why do the ppl in our fandom make confusing names for ships?? who came up with this shit?? Like just combine names like normal ppl) and like idk who to ship bc i love ALL of the pairings soooo i’m like yeah just ship them all together, let them be poly :))))
